@@oksanaml9279 Same, but I definitely try to have a little fun with my eyes-a little waterproof mascara, some eyelid primer, and a color stick for eyes (I like Laura Mercier’s or Thrive Causemetics)…And I wear cherry chapstick constantly to keep my lips from drying out when they rub the mask! Be safe where you work-I’m with the VA, and we’re seeing increases, too. Much love and respect to you for all you do!

I bought the Sephora foundation on your recommendation and I have to say it’s absolutely great. I’ve had the hardest time finding a foundation as I’ve gotten older. They all seem to settle in every wrinkle and crevice no matter what I do. I used the elf putty primer and then applied the Sephora foundation with a sponge and I was really impressed with the look. Even after 5+ hours it was still looking good. The coverage wasn’t quite as much as I usually use, but I just put on a little extra and that took care of it. This rivals all the expensive foundations that I’ve tried. So glad you recommended it.

And you warn about glossy vs. matte appearances, possible excessive pigments in liquid blush, and you're proudly beating the drum for good old Nars Orgasm blush! Now I'm waiting to hear what happened to YSL Touche eclat concealer, which I still use and love...Thank you for covering such a broad range of products, from drugstore to the lofty heights of department store brands. Benefit They're Real Magnetic Mascara and Maybelline Sky High Mascara are my two absolute favorites! I don't like false lashes too often and these two really give me long fluffy lashes!
I felt the exact same way about the Marc Jacobs eyeliner. Why it was discontinued is a mystery because it was a favorite of so many. I actually went to Makeup Forever too. It's crazy how similar we have done things. We are both 59 and it seems like we both have come to the same conclusion on many things. Many of your favorites are mine too.

I've loved Trish McEvoy instant eye lift for a long time. It used to come in only two shades, so three is an improvement! The reason for limited shades is that the product is not a concealer, but meant to be worn in what Trish McEvoy calls "the triangle of light" beneath the eyes, over concealer. Used this way, it provides a truly fantastic brightening effect on the undereye area.
I agree with Stone Cold Fox! So good, I have used it every single day since the day I got it and I have quite a few palettes. I'm neutral skin tone and can use every color in this palette. And of course, your brushes have replaced all of my other brushes except the one I use for eye liner. Would love to have another of the slanted eye one, I use it for everything!
Thank you for the video. I realize wearing makeup can be a fun activity but I personally have stopped wearing makeup altogether. The expense ( when women already make so much less than men), the toxins, the eye floaters from mascara, the plastic packaging, the animal testing, the animal products, were all factors that led to my decision. I do admit that it still takes courage to leave the house without it, which tells me I had been wearing it before for all the wrong reasons. Angie, I would be interested in a video about reasonably priced toxin, plastic, and cruelty free makeup options! Thanks again!

You have your reasons for quitting color products, and I too get fed up with trendy, spendy products, but I'm just a woman cheerleading for other women! @Claire Car I have never worn more than eyeliner and mascara. I hate the feel of makeup on my face. Everytime someone says "this foundation is so light, it's like wearing nothing" I give it a try and I always hate it. I have recently started using the ELF Monochromatic sticks. I use one color for blush and contrasting and a highlighter/shimmer color. They last a very long time so minimal waste. They are also Vegan and Cruelty free and not very expensive. They give me just enough ooph to feel pretty but it still feels like I"m not wearing anything. I even use them for lip color. My makeup bag only has 4 items in it so no guilt about the planet!! Give them a try!!!
Makeup is a personal choice. Sometimes wearing makeup makes a women feel pretty, when she may not without it. Feeling better about yourself helps to increase one’s self confidence and can give a person a mental boost. Self confidence helps women in the earnings category as well. In my opinion makeup for aging women, who sometimes times feel invisible anyway, only helps to improve their outlook. Simply said, when you look good, you feel good….
The Sephora best skin ever foundation is hands down my fave, most used 2021 product I’ve bought! It’s an always reach for Holy Grail FOREVER for me. Patrick Ta & Charlotte Tilbury products are 2021 faves for me too!
Hi Angie, I believe the Trish McAvoy brightening eye makeup is for brightening your under eye and then you apply your concealer on top of it it’s almost like a color corrector on your undereye before you put on your concealer.
Omg I have to say you help me so much with aging gracefully, I love makeup so much but as I have gotten older almost 50, makeup doesn’t sit the same or look the same!!! I try all of your recommendations and I’ve got to say what a huge difference!!! I almost died when I saw your favorite lip product is my favorite!!! And that Lancome mascara is so so good because mascara doesn’t look good on my poor lashes I tried so many!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Angie thanks for all the great videos thru out the year. I have a little tip for you and your viewers. When you,re done with the Cereve pm moisturizer remove the pump and trim the bottom of the straw . Put it in the Loreal true match serum foundation. It makes a perfect. Pump. Recycle plastic and less mess😊💕 it works on the original True Match as well❤
I had that Beauty blender "The leveler" in my wishlist after hearing so many ppl rave about it. As it so happened, I was looking thru the makeup in Marshalls and low & behold came across some!! I was elated. Used it the next day & was blown away! Only thing I didn't think of was how mattifyiing it was. I just did switch my makeup routine to a more Dewey finish. Next time I added my CT flawless filter I'd just bought & that helped bring back some glow. Got a sample of that Sephora foundation last week. Haven't tried yet but have high hopes. Have been looking for that Loreal true match nude in my shade but no luck so far. Would have loved to have been able to pick up in Ulta with the 20% coupon but wasn't meant to be.

For those of you with dark under eye circles I’ve found an awesome duo with the Beauty Pie super-luminous under eye genius (light shade) paired with Tarte Shape Tape (original formula). Their membership is $59 for the year btw and the savings are incredible! A little product goes a long way with both and it never creases after setting. The genius cream is very moisturizing and has a slight iridescent quality that reflects light without making your under eye area look too white/light. Any slight mascara fallout during the day brushes/wipes away easily without disrupting the concealer but instead looks as fresh as when I first applied it. It took me months to find the right pairing so I wanted to mention it in case someone else is experiencing the same frustrating problem I had. 💖✨💕 Have a wonderful Christmas Angie!🎄🎁⛄️

While i will agree that the Beauty Blender “the Leveler” primer is an AMAZING product. I have moved to another product instead only because i hate (yup, hate is the appropriate emotion) the packaging . It is near impossible to get e the product out of the container after week 2-3. And cutting it open is harrowing as it really doesn’t like being cut open at all (safely anyway). When you do manage to open it, you will get another 4 weeks of product from it !. Such a waste just to make a ‘cute’ container. Yes I have written to the company…. Twice
Sorry you've had such a hard time with the primer Barbara... there is an easy solution though, you just store it upside down and it squeezes out easily... But it is difficult to use without doing that so hopefully they'll change the package eventually...
@@AngieHotandFlashy I feel same as the commenter. Packaging a complete fail. Storing upside down does nothing - perhaps as in cooler climate in UK. Chucked it half way empty as couldn’t get product out.

Mark Jacobs and Makeup Forever are owned by the same parent company so it makes sense that the eyeliner is so similar. Sometimes when something I like is discontinued I'll look up the parent company and if they have other companies, it's a good bet the products are similar.
I bought the BK brush set. The brushes truly work on mature eyes. The concealer brush truly works for my super textured undereye area. I can't wait to buy some back ups and gifts for this brush. Thanks Angie. Happy Holidays!
I love L’Oréal Lumi foundation on my dry-normal skin. It looks moisturized, plumped and perfection! My daughter was wearing Dior as we were getting ready together for a wedding. She checked my face close after telling her and she found it hard to believe I had applied foundation. Would love to try the tinted one as well for Summer. I wear very minimal just to even out face and neck. 😍
Thanks for recommending that Trish Mcvoy concealer in the older video. I purchased it from Nordstrom in the lightest shade and ended up using it as a corrector underneath another concealer. It’s super thin and didn’t cover my very dark circles, but I realized that it brightened very well and prepared for another concealer to be put over it. It is too expensive though…
Number 1 Setting spray is tatcha (invisible glow and the finest mist I’ve experienced) and 2nd is Charlotte Tilbury a bit disappointed in the sputtering mist with hers.
I'm surprised the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner isn't one of your favorites. Those are the only liners I use anymore, love them and they go on easily and stay on all day. And they have awesome colors. Thanks for the great video!

I felt the exact same way about the Marc Jacobs eyeliner. Why it was discontinued is a mystery because it was a favorite of so many. I actually went to Makeup Forever too. It's crazy how similar we have done things. We are both 59 and it seems like we both have come to the same conclusion on many things. Many of your favorites are mine too.

I've loved Trish McEvoy instant eye lift for a long time. It used to come in only two shades, so three is an improvement!
The reason for limited shades is that the product is not a concealer, but meant to be worn in what Trish McEvoy calls "the triangle of light" beneath the eyes, over concealer.
Used this way, it provides a truly fantastic brightening effect on the undereye area.

I agree with Stone Cold Fox! So good, I have used it every single day since the day I got it and I have quite a few palettes. I'm neutral skin tone and can use every color in this palette. And of course, your brushes have replaced all of my other brushes except the one I use for eye liner. Would love to have another of the slanted eye one, I use it for everything!

Thank you for the video. I realize wearing makeup can be a fun activity but I personally have stopped wearing makeup altogether. The expense ( when women already make so much less than men), the toxins, the eye floaters from mascara, the plastic packaging, the animal testing, the animal products, were all factors that led to my decision.
I do admit that it still takes courage to leave the house without it, which tells me I had been wearing it before for all the wrong reasons.
Angie, I would be interested in a video about reasonably priced toxin, plastic, and cruelty free makeup options! Thanks again!

You have your reasons for quitting color products, and I too get fed up with trendy, spendy products, but I'm just a woman cheerleading for other women! @Claire Car I have never worn more than eyeliner and mascara. I hate the feel of makeup on my face. Everytime someone says "this foundation is so light, it's like wearing nothing" I give it a try and I always hate it. I have recently started using the ELF Monochromatic sticks. I use one color for blush and contrasting and a highlighter/shimmer color. They last a very long time so minimal waste. They are also Vegan and Cruelty free and not very expensive. They give me just enough ooph to feel pretty but it still feels like I"m not wearing anything. I even use them for lip color. My makeup bag only has 4 items in it so no guilt about the planet!! Give them a try!!!
Makeup is a personal choice. Sometimes wearing makeup makes a women feel pretty, when she may not without it. Feeling better about yourself helps to increase one’s self confidence and can give a person a mental boost. Self confidence helps women in the earnings category as well. In my opinion makeup for aging women, who sometimes times feel invisible anyway, only helps to improve their outlook. Simply said, when you look good, you feel good….

The Sephora best skin ever foundation is hands down my fave, most used 2021 product I’ve bought! It’s an always reach for Holy Grail FOREVER for me. Patrick Ta & Charlotte Tilbury products are 2021 faves for me too!

Hi Angie, I believe the Trish McAvoy brightening eye makeup is for brightening your under eye and then you apply your concealer on top of it it’s almost like a color corrector on your undereye before you put on your concealer.
Omg I have to say you help me so much with aging gracefully, I love makeup so much but as I have gotten older almost 50, makeup doesn’t sit the same or look the same!!! I try all of your recommendations and I’ve got to say what a huge difference!!! I almost died when I saw your favorite lip product is my favorite!!! And that Lancome mascara is so so good because mascara doesn’t look good on my poor lashes I tried so many!!! Thank you so much!!!!

When you,re done with the Cereve pm moisturizer remove the pump and trim the bottom of the straw . Put it in the Loreal true match serum foundation. It makes a perfect. Pump. Recycle plastic and less mess😊💕 it works on the original True Match as well❤

I had that Beauty blender "The leveler" in my wishlist after hearing so many ppl rave about it. As it so happened, I was looking thru the makeup in Marshalls and low & behold came across some!! I was elated. Used it the next day & was blown away! Only thing I didn't think of was how mattifyiing it was. I just did switch my makeup routine to a more Dewey finish. Next time I added my CT flawless filter I'd just bought & that helped bring back some glow.
Got a sample of that Sephora foundation last week. Haven't tried yet but have high hopes. Have been looking for that Loreal true match nude in my shade but no luck so far. Would have loved to have been able to pick up in Ulta with the 20% coupon but wasn't meant to be.

For those of you with dark under eye circles I’ve found an awesome duo with the Beauty Pie super-luminous under eye genius (light shade) paired with Tarte Shape Tape (original formula). Their membership is $59 for the year btw and the savings are incredible! A little product goes a long way with both and it never creases after setting. The genius cream is very moisturizing and has a slight iridescent quality that reflects light without making your under eye area look too white/light. Any slight mascara fallout during the day brushes/wipes away easily without disrupting the concealer but instead looks as fresh as when I first applied it. It took me months to find the right pairing so I wanted to mention it in case someone else is experiencing the same frustrating problem I had. 💖✨💕

While i will agree that the Beauty Blender “the Leveler” primer is an AMAZING product. I have moved to another product instead only because i hate (yup, hate is the appropriate emotion) the packaging . It is near impossible to get e the product out of the container after week 2-3. And cutting it open is harrowing as it really doesn’t like being cut open at all (safely anyway). When you do manage to open it, you will get another 4 weeks of product from it !. Such a waste just to make a ‘cute’ container. Yes I have written to the company…. Twice
Sorry you've had such a hard time with the primer Barbara... there is an easy solution though, you just store it upside down and it squeezes out easily... But it is difficult to use without doing that so hopefully they'll change the package eventually...

Mark Jacobs and Makeup Forever are owned by the same parent company so it makes sense that the eyeliner is so similar. Sometimes when something I like is discontinued I'll look up the parent company and if they have other companies, it's a good bet the products are similar.
I bought the BK brush set. The brushes truly work on mature eyes. The concealer brush truly works for my super textured undereye area. I can't wait to buy some back ups and gifts for this brush. Thanks Angie. Happy Holidays!

I love L’Oréal Lumi foundation on my dry-normal skin. It looks moisturized, plumped and perfection! My daughter was wearing Dior as we were getting ready together for a wedding. She checked my face close after telling her and she found it hard to believe I had applied foundation. Would love to try the tinted one as well for Summer. I wear very minimal just to even out face and neck. 😍
Thanks for recommending that Trish Mcvoy concealer in the older video. I purchased it from Nordstrom in the lightest shade and ended up using it as a corrector underneath another concealer. It’s super thin and didn’t cover my very dark circles, but I realized that it brightened very well and prepared for another concealer to be put over it. It is too expensive though…

Number 1 Setting spray is tatcha (invisible glow and the finest mist I’ve experienced) and 2nd is Charlotte Tilbury a bit disappointed in the sputtering mist with hers.
I'm surprised the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner isn't one of your favorites. Those are the only liners I use anymore, love them and they go on easily and stay on all day. And they have awesome colors. Thanks for the great video!
