I found planner peace with my Hibino in 2024. I use the left side of the day as a planner, timelog, food log.the right side page I use as a diary, thoughts, morning pages, deco. I love it so much. It chunked up a lot last year but i still loved it. The tiny grid forces me to right slowly with a smaller nib pen.writing slowly and neatly acts as a mindfulness practice. Write slow, write neat, breath. I love using transfer stickers , no bulk.
How lovely you have found your planner peace! It's great to have space to put everything in one place. Thanks for sharing and I am realizing now I need to slow down more... that would be a great mindfulness practice for sure. Thanks!
You're struggles in finding your way in a new book are so relatable, but I hope you can still enjoy the freedom of your creative journal. I think it looks great!
I just love the way you’ve been using your hibino far! It’s too bad about the stamping issues and how that interacts with writing on the other page. I’m also not great at using my deco tapes, either. 😅
Thanks so much, I appreciate your kind words. Lots of experimentation going on for sure... and those deco tapes, they are so cute, but just don't reach for them!
I’m so disappointed with the tomoe river sanzen paper coming from the wonderful experience of the 2024 take a note 68gsm. The ghosting and bleed through make me dislike using this hibino 😢
It is really weird because it doesnt seem to be an issue always or maybe certain pages... It is confusing honestly! Ahhh... the anxiety of it all is definitely annoying this year... TRP is letting everyone down 😭
Do you have a daily creative journal?!

I was listening to this while I was doing some pen tests, I don't have anything insightful to say other than I love your drawings!!
@@stationery.shenanigans Thanks so much for listening in to my ramblings 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks so much... yes, I suppose it's the weird stage of getting into a new book, this is a brand new journal for me this year!
Try stamping on scrap of leftover cream tomoe river paper, then cutting it out and gluing it in. Using thin tomoe river paper will not add bulk.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing :)
This is lovely! Thanks for sharing!
