That American Queen stock photo on the cover has been used sooooo many times for book covers. It was used for the spanish edition of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. And a year before that for another book I can’t remember but it was in b&w.

I have always felt that not all books need to be read for intellectual or "big picture" purposes. A lot of people see sci-fi and fantasy as the escapism genres, but I think there is a lot to be said for a fun, mindless read.

I personally loved Den of Vipers but it’s definitely not for everyone. It doesn’t have a plot like at all really, but if you are looking for just a book filled with dirty, dark smutty scenes then it’s a book for you

Yessssss I’ve been patiently waiting for booktube to discover the Madison Kate series. Wow it is so good. Read the rest of the series for sure. It gets even more wild. It’s a great time, very taboo. I like that there is more than just a romance plot to the series

PLEASE CONTINUE “MADISON KATE” SERIES!!! Everything you said I agree with though I gave it 5 stars because it was SO enjoyable and sexy. The rest of the books only get more out there and soosososososo steamy (with 2+ dudes 😮)

Lots of people loved Den Of Vipers but I HATED it. I read it out to my boyfriend and we had a ball of a time laughing our asses off to it. 'Bastard' is used at a maddeningly frequent rate, and there's nothing interesting enough about the love interests to make them sexy. Roxy is painfully annoying and tries so hard to 'not be like other girls'. It's a really dark and smutty romance with 'kinky' scenes, but the delivery of it is just not... it's not it. It's not the kink, it's the way it's framed and plays out that just rubs me the wrong way (I'm into BDSM, I actually think this worked against me in the reading experience). The only reason I finished it was because my boyfriend had such a laugh with me. I understand that it's supposed to be a super dark smutty book that you shouldn't take seriously, but there's a lot of clichés in it that I personally don't think were worked into the story very well at all. It was predictable.
After I read Hate, I scoured your channel to see if you had already read it 😂 I'm so happy you read it in a reading vlog! I read the whole series back to back last month, it was such a fun read
This was really fun, I love pretty much any type of video you do. I would also like more recommendation videos in the future since I do pick up at least some of the books you present and I find your opinions to be a pretty good guide for me in the romance genre.

hate for me was definitely a book that made me confused lol sometimes it was fun of course, but i think the opposite of you, i think mk was not angry enough lol archer just made me hate him so much during the second book i just gave up reading the series entirely.he's the worst and every single thing he would say i would cry reading it, the guy is MEAN af, i dont know if i have the courage to keep reading it 😔

I had to put down Den of Vipers because it rubbed me the wrong way. I'm all for reverse harems, but it was more the content and how fast the main characters feelings changed towards the guys.

I loved Hate. You should definitely continue the series, it just keeps getting better and crazier.
Book rec: A King So Cold by Ella Fields. 3.5/5 🔥 in my opinion. (I don't recommend the second book (too happy of an ending, the whole concept seems to cliche)) but the idea behind the book is really good. The main character is the queen, who stops her husband's wedding (there's lots of stuff there but that's spoiler) and decides to retell all of their romantic journey so that he'll remember her.

Loved your review of Madison Kate by Tate James although I will say to definitely keep reading! The series evolves drastically from the first book to the last. It starts good and enjoyable and then turns absolutely mind blowingly good! If you liked the first one then you will LOVE the last one.

honestly i saw so much recomend this book american queen but i read the blurb of this and i was no uh for me , i got the king of south because im such a cover girl and i want something like historical but now i dont know if going to read , idk, but hate was one of i read and love it !!! was the first series of this autor and i was shipping MK with zayn and his right hand men too ....
