      I agree I was trying something new and it didn't work out the greatest, but was not going to remove the clutch again.

    Okay so with stiffer springs if you use the same torque rating you will overtorque the bolts. I did this on my scout 60 and burned out my clutch with the quickness.

      I tried to remember what size it was, but I can't remember. I'm thinking it was an 1 1/16, but I am not exactly sure.

    Good morning. Great video, have you noticed any difference in shifting now that a few more days have pasted. Also the allen bolt, do you think that’s working as you hoped? Yes I know its hard to answer. I might see if Indian is selling that allen already pre drilled for my 2020

      As far as shifting it "grabs" more. I am not sure how to explain than that. Definitely no slipping!! As far as the allen bolt...is it working..I don't know...lol. I'm sure its allowing more oil to the plates. The only real big difference that sometimes is a pain is getting into neutral. Others have remarked on this too. Its more of a tap to get it into neutral from 2nd. Would I change from not doing the extra plate...NO. I am glad I did it!

    Did you torque the staking nut? Did you replace it?
    I'm asking because 125 ft pounds seems very heavy for such a little nut.

    • @reyffdesigns1282
      @reyffdesigns1282  3 месяца назад +1

      I did not torque it with a torque wrench. I used an impact drill to tighten it. I did stake the nut again so it wouldn't back off. If not doing this way, you will need to take the other side of the engine apart to lock the crank. And again I got this advice from others that build these engines.
