I just got a bottle of Dior Homme 2020. I agree, when I first smelled it I wasn't blown away or anything. But getting wafts of it as I wore it today, it does smell great and is a perfect masculine, everyday scent. Simple and elegant.
Fully agree Hermes TDH, Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum, and TF Beau de Jour are great all year-round fragrances. Of course kind of needless to mention, but mentioning them :) Dior Sauvage EDT, Bleu de Chanel EDP, and Prada L'Homme are excellent all year round fragrances. Others all-rounders I'd suggest: - Guerlain Vetiver - Issey MIyake L'Eau Bleue de Issey - Dunhill Century Dior Homme 2020 and Hermes H24 do not intrigue my nose at all, at least not yet. I'll keep re-smelling them over time to see if that changes.
IIRC Luna Rossa is a sail club owned/sponsored by Prada. Therefor Luna Rossa Ocean and Carbon is in reference to the materials of the sailboats and the water
ESP has become the most versatile fragrance in my collection. I agree that it's a bit heavy for the hottest of days but a little heat does work some magic on my skin. In the fall, I just spray a bit more and the resinous notes are more apparent. What I love about this one too is that it is subtle enough that it isn't in your face all the time but makes it's presence known long throughout the day, in waves. Not the most exciting or complex fragrance but is always luxurious and inviting.
@travisn346 I'm going to try that next after my Dior homme 2020 runs out. I heard great things about it. I just love the iso-e-super with 2020. Just when you think the fragrance is gone, the fragrance comes out of nowhere and slaps you in the face with the cedar and iso-e-super.
I would have to add these versatile fragrances: Burberry Hero, Bleu De Chanel Edp, Acqua Di Gio Absolu, Gucci Guilty Pour Homme Edp, Prada Lhomme, & Luna Rossa Carbon.
Ocean EDT is one of the only fragrances I can’t help but to love that has below avg. performance. I know alot of people find it boring but for some reason the blend to my nose is euphoric. EDP is good too but I prefer the fresher/more aromatic profile of EDT. Also in agreement with DH 2020, it’s a unique but simple BANGER, idc that it’s completely different than OG
Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDP is a love for me. I wore it the other night in winter I get a bit of suede or something sexy. Tried it also in the summer (at nights) and it smelled clean, sophisticated and not generic to me.
im wearing luna rossa ocean EDP right now, amazing scent, it has that sweet/balsamic thing that scents such as layton exclusif, sauvage PARFUM, bleu de chanel PARFUM also have, very thicc scent, not as safe or " mass appealing" as the EDT cause it goes in deeper, darker, sweeter, and more mature direction due to the grapefruit/incense combo.
Justin JC Copeland! How could you not tell us how darn phenomenal that Dior Homme 2020 is!!!? We tune in everyday and you do us like this my "bro"?? Lol. Kiddin, you've been telling us about it. Scented it today at Ulta and man that's a stunner! About to buy it right this moment
I was also looking at Bvlgari rain essence yesterday and I think that also fits this category. I have 4 from this list on my wish list. Great suggestions as always.
Good job, Justin ! I would exclude Mont Blanc Legend (too generic), Luna Rossa Ocean and Bleu Noir (more summer) and i would replace them with Gucci Guilty Homme, Lalique Encre Noir Sport and Burberry Men
Great list! Will check these out over time. I thought about Dior Homme 2020 but ultimately went with Sport 2021 because it was more interesting to me and works on my skin so well.
I think we have similar taste. I love TDH (EDT, Parfum, and Eau Givree), Dior Homme 2020 (and Sport 2021), Beau de jour, Eau Sauvage (cologne, EDT, & EDP), and Declaration. Hot tip: Prada Amber Homme Intense is an even better take on Eau Sauvage EDP, imho. Also, Chanel Egoiste fits perfectly here. I'll have to check out the others you listed.
Im still working on likeing luna rossa ocean EDP. I keep visiting sephora just to spray my hand and see how i like it. At 1st smell i was not impressed and prada is my favorite designer house. 3rd time trying it i was likeing it.
Tere D'Hermes is awesome. There are some days when it smells like a creamy orange julius other days the vetiver comes out more. For H24 I did get banana when I first sniffed it but when I went back it was gone and I smelled more pear than banana.
The Mont Blanc legend EDP is fine, but I prefer Legend Red for the heat, and the gym. It’s nothing special compared to a lot of designer frags.. but it’s an easy spray on for your ordinary day that’s not gonna waste top shelf juice. I feel like pheromones also have a lot to do with the way this smells on you. At the gym, it’s pretty spectacular for me.
cartier declaration is nice but a tweaked version also by Jean Claude Ellena is Hermes Voyage (both EDT and EDP are lovely). But an allrounder would be more the EDP.
Home 2020 has been my Signature whenever it drops below 20 degrees Celsius here in Germany, which happens… quite often 😅. It’s so classy and beautiful, I never get tired of it

Not so amazing as i thought it would be Got Dior Homme 2020 by accident a few yrs ago because either the store i bought it from didn't have the Dior flanker i wanted so they sent me that one instead or someone grabbed the wrong version at the order fulfillment sweat shop but whats cool is that they sent me the big 5 oz bottle for the same price of the Dior flanker which was ~$75ish and the big 5 oz costs way more than that Speaking of Dior Homme, i finally got Dior Homme Parfum a few days ago after putting it off for yrs and its amazing. Best fragrance purchase this yr 👍
Great work, really like your videos , first of all I respect that you take your time to reply to your subscribers 👍 That being said,I need your help 😅 I'm trying to choose a signature scent between Guerlain heritage edt and Dior eau sauvage parfum 2017 , both of them are going the same direction, but regarding the smell , quality, bang for buck also , what do you think? Thanks
Ironically enough, that’s a hard question for me to answer if you’ve already tried them both! Which one do you love more? Either one is totally worth the price as long as you love the smell.
Love your work and most preferences, however my only gripe is most of your bangers don't really project that loud ,so I have to do samples moreover always grateful for your take Justin, salute keep it coming and also if it's not too much ,can you do your favorite loud nuclear fragrances for all seasons
I have to get my nose on Dior Homme 2020. I didn’t even know it existed. Dior Eau Sauvage is something I’ve had since the 1980’s. I also still love Hermes’ Orange Vert.

Hey Justin! I found your channel 7 months ago, and ever since i’ve been trying to find a designer signature scent.. which smells different, like the Versace pour homme. Do you recommend me any? I just want one fragrance, preferable blue, designer.. which i can run till the end of time as my signature. Thanks!!
@@stayfreshproductions Oh alrighty, thanks Justin.. i really appreciate your advice. The Parfum seems to be the best for my nose. The only problem with BdC imo is the constant rising prices.

Ocean is not bad but Carbon is much better in projection, performance, and just general smell.
