- How does the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System (71374) look, function, and compare to the original? I go over everything I could think of, from Easter eggs, to showing animated diagrams of the working mechanisms inside. Plus, I take a brief look at how it works with Mario from the Adventures with Mario Starter Course set 71360.
Special thanks to my dad for helping me use his equipment and photo studio! This was more of a proof-of-concept review, and I know it’s pretty late, but I’m just learning the ropes. Also, I didn’t keep track of the digital building/importing process, but the animating and rendering for the cartridge loading mechanism took at least four hours, so uh, hopefully it was worth it 🤷♂️. Yesterday I recorded the voiceover (twice, because there was too much reverb the first time) edited from 10:30am to 2:30am. Yikes!

Me at 1:44 : "How do I double like??"
I like how its so thorough yet short
I would LOVE a video on Lego's cases of ''parallel thinking'' :)
You deserve so many more subs man. The quality and effort of these vids are incredible. Did you make the 3-D model yourself
Thanks! I built it in Stud.io and animated and rendered it in Blender.
BricksAhoy Nice, you are incredibly talented in that respect. Well done 👏
@@BricksAhoy Can you export the studio model to blender?
@@RebelRobotics Studio can export to Collada (.dae) which can then be opened in Blender
Ahhhhhh THANK YOU for that 3D model demonstration! I had a very vague idea of how it actually worked but this makes it super clear, and really acknowledges the smart design of the set. Awesome review!
one of the most in depth lego reviews i’ve ever seen. wonderful
I absolutely love the highly professional and succinct style your videos have. Also, please do make a video on LEGO and parallel thinking! I think it would be really beneficial to many LEGO fans of understanding the line between copying and just having the same idea.
it's a really great idea to pause and reveal the mecanisms
i'd like to see a video on parallel thinking, and how close the 2 ideas each person had
I don't usually sub lego youtubers, because I actively search for lego sets on youtube, but you deserve much more abos! So you got mine.
I'd love to see a parallel thinking video! Your content is very well produced.
Your attention to detail is unparalleled when it comes to these Lego videos and your 3D models are to die for - that breakdown on the cartridge mechanism was amazing! Thank you for another excellent watch!
I would love a video about parallel thinking in LEGO
Loving the 3d models showing the mechanism and how it works! This is a totally enjoyable set!
Thank you so much for the detailed visuals and description of the mechanisms! You're making some really amazing content and now I want to pick up this set even more than I already did. Mario 1 and 3 were and continue to be my favorite 8-bit games :-)
I’d be really interested in seeing that parallel thinking video essay! The first example that came to my mind was the Ghostbusters Firehouse, as I think that was a bit of a controversy at the time, at least to my memory
Mad respect for the quality of your videos right from the start! Keep it going. I can already see you becoming one of my favourite LEGO channels
Great analysis!
I don’t understand why 1.8k ppl subbed and only 524 watched this video. The quality is actually so good- keep it going!
Great quality video!
Your videos are great, awesome combination of quality footage, montage and your voice. Please, keep on! Big love from Russia :^)
Excellent review. High quality, concise, and very different from most reviews out there. Can't wait to see your channel grow!
Great video, keep it up man
It’s great that you shower the 3D model and what color makes what noise.
This is epic man, I now need this set
Keep up the great work! This channel deserves more subs
Great explanation of the cartridge mechanism and the other mechanisms.
Man this was amazing I’d love another video keep up the great work your gonna be huge.
Every other RUclipsr takes 20 min to review this and yours is only 10 min and you cover more ground.
I though this channel would have more subs then it does considering the professional quality of it all I'm honestly very surprised
This is definitely the best review I’ve seen of this set!
cheesus crust, you need more subs for these amazing videos
Love it! My official favorite LEGO set!
You just earnt a sub dude. Amazing video!
Your videos are so informative! Love it when you explain how things work!! :) Thank you for another great vid!
Please make a parallel thinking video!
My cartridge, when inserted, goes in at a weird, downward angle. I thought it was just mine, but see from this video they're all like this. I thought I did something wrong.
Make a video on the 2020 haunted mansion please!
So much work went into this video, well done on a great effort! - I did not know about the guy from Beyond The Brick. It's certainly very similar, and I think a jury may be swayed in voting that Lego did copy it. A TV set, a scrolling screen, same game, similar theme and colours... There's simply too many similar elements (Ref: 8:53).
Great videos so far! Instantly subscribed! About the hot subject, I'm afraid Lego took advantage of a fan's idea, there is no other way to look at this, is too similar to think otherwise. And unfortunately is not the first not even the 10th time...
Im honestly baffled that you have less than 2k subs
the locking mechanism on mine isn’t working even though all the parts are in the correct spot 😭
Dare I say you are better than mandr?
You need to keep going. You wont get the same views as the piano video umless you keep pumping out videos. It will happen again
Just a comment passing by
3 vids 2k subs...Hmm
Nice.
how many subs until a face reveal?
