My grandfather too he lives with us currently and at times I can’t believe that it’s true, his other children don’t believe it and had accused him of faking it must be so hard for him to lose a piece of himself every passing hour 💔
He died on my brother's birthday. I felt something that day anyway. I cried because someone had died. J never knew. I'm sorry for your loss i wish you all the best in life.
I lost my grandmother, my Nanna, to Alzheimer's a year ago. We were so close. She was a second parent to me when my Dad died. We had to watch her waste away for 5 long years before she finally passed. It's something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. It's a level of pain I never knew existed. They just fall apart from the inside out and they don't even know it's happening. She was gripping my hand so tightly when she died. I think maybe she knew then.
as a caregiver for alzheimer’s and dementia residents it is one of the hardest things to watch, them getting worse, and more confused, we try our hardest to help them maintain things that made them who they were, it takes a village. even i have had to go have alot of cries in a break room. *hugs*
I can understand the pain. Finding out a loved one is sick is the worst. It hurts when you know there is nothing you can do and you want to help sooo badly. That helplessness eats away at you. Sending hugs, sounds like this one really took it out of you. You put your heart and soul in your work and it shows. ❤❤
So my grandmother has Dementia as well, and this literally made me cry a bit... Usually I don't like to go see my grandmother anymore bc I know that she doesn't know who I am anymore. She used to have a garden full of Veggies and Fruits and I was always allowed to have some of it. I loved my grandmother and I still do! Sorry for rambling, this was just a stab in the heart (not badly meant) it just hit hard.. have a great day or night! ❤️ (Sorry for rambling)
If you know the feeling of never growing up or Autism meltdown/breakdown/anxiety/stress, could you please do a comfort ASMR roleplay? Be sure to put in long hugs. My birthday is next week Tuesday, I'd also like a shout out?
I started crying as soon as you mentioned dementia, my greatgrandad had lost his life to dementia a few years ago but I still really miss him. I send all the love, cuddles and warm hugs I can give
I'm actually crying right now, because my grandma had something like this, not dementia, but it was very close to it. It's hard to say something after this. Um, I... I don't know what to say, this hit different than any other audio I heard. Um, I... It was very emotional and um, yeah. You deserve much more subscribers! (I'm happy that I found your channel). ❤️
I'm sorry to hear you've had to go through something like this. It's definitely not easy. Thank you for listening and letting me know how my audio made you feel.
@@fictionalfriend1844 Well, thank you, that you're doing this and I hope that everything is alright with you! If you have a hard time than please remember that we, who follows your work, we are love you and support you!
This hit so hard I had a grandma that it started the same way u described it then we put he in a home were they took great care of her and she always confused me for my mom and it was hard I'm sorry if your actually going through this and I know it gets better but I'm not going to lie it's hard but I hope u make it through this and I wish u my best
my great grandmother has dementia and it was honestly hard to see. i haven’t seen her in like a year maybe two but it hurt a lot. she use to take care of me sometimes and i would go over her house on the weekends. when she didn’t recognize me or my niece it hurt my whole heart and i wanted to cry. at first we didn’t understand bc she would ALWAYS take care of us🥺. i miss her a lot.

This came out on the day my grandma passed away from dementia. I haven't been able to listen until now. This was incredibly well done. Thank you so much for making this. You are incredibly talented and this video is so touching in so many ways. Thank you
Dementia runs in my family, both my grandmas had it, my grandpas have it and my dad has it, I think my mom has it but we don’t know for sure she’s always been forgetful so I understand this way to well
Men should be able to cry and express other emotions other than happiness and anger. I’m happy a few asmr creators are brave enough to make content like this. To anyone who has lost a loved one due to the virus or a disease... your friends, family, and **some** teachers are willing to help you through it. And so am I 💖💖💖
My d-daddy has dementia and this was posted the day after my birthday. You were right on when you mentioned the selfishness and guilt, God help me, but I pray it doesn’t happen to me. He started showing signs when I was around 12 and now I’m 23, he also had 9 concussions while playing college football and I’m not saying this to take away from anyone else’s journey with this, but because of the brain damage it’s really hard for him to follow simple commands ... He can be so sweet and goofy some days and others he’s just crabby and it really takes on my Nana who isn’t going to get any kind of help with him any time soon. I can’t imagine what it’s like for her. Please pray for us 😭
Ohh, I hadn't even thought about doing a series type thing for some reason. I'm interested in doing longer ones, but I also hugely value suggestions, so don't be afraid to speak up if you want something specific.
My grandma is slowly developing dementia and it's really hard seeing her get so depressed and mad at herself for forgetting. It's such a hard thing to go through, love to anyone out there with someone suffering from anything like this
