      I would suggest adding a screw or skewer into these from the base upwards to make them a bit sturdier. Pillars are something that I've found end up batted around by accident more than just about anything on the table with various setups

      Hey bud! I'd like to see some builds from your new campaign, maybe a boss fight room or maybe just random encounter terrain, either way just want to see what your new world looks like...I'm always looking forward to seeing your videos...good job!!!

    Loving these "return to the Classics" videos. You have improved so much and developed immensely as a creator. These pillars were the first terrain piece I ever made and were integral to me finding my truest source of creativity. Thank you!

      It is immensely helpful to me as a newbie, to learn from someone who's learned. (Also comparing beginner projects to "five years later" is great)

    Revisiting your old projects should definitely become a series. I like seeing your progress and you have clearly learned a lot over time and thanks to you, I have also learned a lot. I would love to see you revisit your "dollar store foam house" video. It would be interesting to see, what you can come up with, using cheap and available materials and your new gained knowledge.
    Revisiting ANY old project would be cool. I should definitely do that sometime.

    Hi Jeremy! Thanks for all you do. Here's the deal: I've been watching you for years - and I don't play D&D or any tabletop games with minis, heck I don't even craft - I just love watching your videos!! You did inspire me (more importantly, you provided the techniques and the confidence to make me think I could do it!) to build a book nook/diorama for my daughter for Christmas one year. These revisits are great and there are several I would love to see you do (hag's hut, fountain, Underdark tiles) but revisiting the LONG SHIP (with the Krakken) would be EPIC! Thanks again and keep building!!

    I still have my original pillars you taught how to make. They were great because they can be used on paper maps just as well as the 3D dungeon tiles. Thanks for going back over your old crafts! Watching these new video's is a treat!

  • @printandplaygamer7134
    @printandplaygamer7134 2 года назад

    Love to see you applying your new skills and tools to your old builds. I made your pillars when you first did them, and used drywall screws to give them weight. Just run a couple of 1.5" or 2" screws up the column from the bottom, and you give them weight as well as extra strength, which they don't *need*, but whatever. It's fast, cheap, and doesn't require any more gluing or cure time.

    Thanks for all the hard work Jeremy and aps foam link , I did get some foam the link and it does make MUCH BETTER impressions with shifting lands texture rollers, I did find some Kingspan foam 24x24 inch at Lowes its the lower 25 psi rating they sell it as crafting foam, I live in Colorado so not sure if other parts of country the Lowes sells it there as well but it is still better than foamular, have not seen the Kingspan at Home Depot .

    Sorry forgot to say in last post the foam at Lowes was 1 inch thick, But I did try before i got the foam on your link , there was DuPont's xps foam roof mate is 42 psi rating BUT trying to find it was another story, from we don't carry any blue foam or never hear of it , and that was from a sales person at Dupont who thought might have it, well the Kingspan is much better anyway
