  • Tanja and her friend David crossed the Wind Rivers on foot in August of 2022. They started at the Green Lakes and exited at Big Sandy, covering about 86 miles. Despite the long drive (14 hours), climbing a wrong pass, a moose in camp, a run-in with a “bear”, and daily rain showers, the Wind Rivers climbed to the top of her favorite mountain ranges.
    About the Presenter:
Tanja grew up in Bavaria and spent spring and fall vacations hiking in the alps with her parents, skiing in the winters. Her love for the outdoors has inspired her many adventures all over the world, including bike touring, climbing, high altitude mountaineering, whitewater canoeing, caving, cave diving, skiing, snowboarding, and her current favorite, backpacking.
This presentation was recorded on July 25, 2023.
