- George and I dropped the kids off at their Juju’s house and went to Meru town so that I could open my first personal bank account since living in Kenya. After that, we went to Gakoromone market to buy a few things but we mostly just ended up laughing, browsing and having a good time exploring.
After that, we went to Hotel Ezri for lunch.
It was a great day!
Thanks for watching! ♥️

You can tell from how George eating that sugarcane, he was born in village( village boy) 🤣🤣🤣 and I like him coz he doesn’t fake it.
Hahah I am always impressed by his jaw strength because I cannot bite sugar cane without breaking a tooth or something 😂
@@Mekenzeinkenya 🤣🤣🤣 we’ve been doing that since we were kids, we call it African techniques🤣 opening the Coca Cola glass bottle with teeth 🦷 too 🤣🤣🤣

In Africa if you're not buying in a mall or supermarket, you MUST negotiate...it's an unspoken covenant lol otherwise you pay too much. Mekenze please tell me that the salad was yummy because it looked so and I like salads a lot.
It was delicious! I love Greek salad so if you do too then you’ll like it. You have to be a fan of olives and the type of cheese they add to it though.
Anyone watching from Jamaica? Real Down Town.😊 love this family.
Thank you our brothers and sisters from Jamaica for supporting our RUclipsrs from Kenya ..
We too love your music.
one love 💕💕
Jambo MeKenze🥰. Juju always has treats for her grandchildren 💜. I am loving the Market/Road trip. It is nice to get a close up view of everything. It’s like being at a flea market. Cabbage for eleven cents, Wow!!! One large cabbage here cost about 3 dollars or more! Did George get bread for the baby☺️. That little one is so precious!!! Thanks for sharing your shopping experience with us Abundant blessings to you💜🙋🏾♀️
I love thus family and for sure they're so authentic and that's what glues me to their videos..keep it up.

We are buying cabbage at 80 and 100 bob...never thought a whole cabbage would cost ksh 15 !! Wow ❤
My goodness in Meru, one can buy a cabbage at Ksh15 and Ksh20! Whaoh.
In South Africa, the cheapest cabbage is around R18-20😢😢
Good!!!! keep familiarizing with the locals and the environment in general so that one day as Lucas shall be visiting his father's homestead as the POTUS everyone shall have a memory to share🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wonderful gradma she loves her grad kids. Godbless ❤

I enjoyed.
When buying merchandise in a market it is always a good idea to negotiate for a better price and save money 😅
It’s true. Although I’m very bad at negotiating. It’s not in my nature 😂😅
This statement is true in the west most price are fixed.@@Mekenzeinkenya
💖💖💖
Doing a great job my neighbor.
I gonna vote for Kinyua
Are you guys far from the floodings that happening there in Kenya?
Meru isn't affected by flooding as much because it's hilly except for maua
@kithinjimbaya oh OK thanks. 👍 Just wondering because I saw the news about the flooding there
Is it customary or expected that one should haggle (negotiate) in the marketplace?
Very expected 😄
Road to 50k sub soon 😊
❤❤👍
