one of the reasons why deepwoken is so popular is because at some point you play the combat so much that you dont forget the combat and its just stuck in your brain so even when you take a break you can just come back to the game at any time and still make the build you want
Hours is one of my favorite game, even though it was not an anime game but it has much anime reference to it. It's a simple single player. The best thing about it is how unique every Host is and the Tempo which make the game unique. Allusion is also a great randomizer game to me
Dragon Soul is a somewhat new DBZ game. The best part about it IMO is the combat. Its fast paced and reminiscent of DBOG, and the combos you can make are crisp.
for me the best thing in all these games is that u can create your own story and integrate as if you were a real character in a world where you can be an anime-style wizard or for example create your own team to defend your base with all the characters you prefer the most, basically the beauty of these games is that you can integrate in that magnificent world as if you were a character of that world for real (thanks for reading all this :) )

idk if this counts as a popular game among the anime community, but in my opinion its definitely Undertale test place reborn (uttpr), a good amount of characters, balanced combos, unique ways to use characters such as frisks ability to switch weapons quickly to make combos, or undynes and Chara's mini-phase to use for a bigger or stronger move set, alongside updating almost monthly with skilled and great devs working on it too.

I'd like to add a game to this list, mostly as a tribute to it since it has recently gone to shit due to corrupt admins after it straight up died way before that because Iltria, the guy who made it, dropped the game to become a Deepwoken dev. The game I'm refering to is Verdant Moon. Now it may not be an anime game at all, but since you mentioned Deepwoken i might as well add this since it's pretty much Deepwoken without the permadeath. The best thing about Verdant Moon was definately the setting and all the subtle lore hints left around. For context, the lore is not very fleshed out nor is there a clear story goal. But the game is structured in a way so that players will make up their own interpretations of it. And the lore is simply beautifully built. Now that I also mentioned the setting. The map is PEAK. I could navigate around it all for hours and still be in awe of how beautiful it is. And when you bring the lore into context, it simply hits different. When exploring the whole thing you will find all these lore nods and just sit there and reflect over whatever that NPC just said or whatever you gathered from that item interaction. I highly reccomend seeing if you can read into the lore. R.I.P Verdant Moon Side note: I would mention the soundtrack, but it's mostly taken from some visual novel called Rewrite.

Its just that the way to obtain breathing styles in project slayer is the same but in different order and different location. And the hashira's location in demonfall is painful to find. Not very popular, but still one of my favourite, striker odyssey, SO (Striker odysey) is a blue lock game, wich are quite rare, but what i like about the game is the weapons, all of the weapons are cool and viable, and yes, it can be a bit p2w with the whole buying spins for skills with robux, it still promotes leveling up to gain more spins for better skills, they are confirming new skills and all the ones in the game are very polished and hae decent effects, i also like the fact that you can not only gain skill points fo ryour weapon, but also for different categories, dribbling, speed, stamina and punch (bassically strengh), this allows for you to make unique builds, like a speed demon, whos main goal is rushing the goal, and you can also gain multiple slots for weapons, you start with one, at level 15 you get the second, and at lvl 35 you get the third, overall, very fun, even in endgame its fun because o the ranked more (its kidna a ranked mode but is bassically for more skilled players)

The game focus on pvp only for now but it does still one of my favs games on the platform and i will aways reccomend you to play

Imo Anime Showdown is an Amazing game, it has a variety of characters that arent re skinned, and are Unique. And its actually pretty balanced with the evasive system and its an easy game to learn but the only down side are the characters, theres not much because of their high graphics but Anime Showdown is making an amazing comeback
for astd you said you dont have to selll all your limbs and go crazy for a unit when the current way to get good units in the game is to get a currency which you get a bout 2 of for a long time then you have to get INSANELY lucky to get the unit then you have to do a bunch of story to get the first evolution (theres 2 evolution to these units) then do the most insane raid 30 times to get the unit, Theres over 20 of these units all with the exacct same proccess. ON TOP OF That to unlock all the stories you have to do days and days of grinding to get to the better ares, added to that to unlock most of these areas you gotta be level 100 or 115 which is another days and days of grinding
You missed out steel ball run from yba, I swear if it wasn't overrun by hackers then it would probably overtake alot of games. It's the perfect type of battle royale where you you go on a journey making friends and betraying them.
I completely agree with you on this. Steel Ball Run is definitely one of the best modes in YBA, and it's unfortunate that it's been overrun by hackers. The concept of the game is fantastic, as it allows players to go on a journey, meet new people, and form alliances, all while battling it out to become the strongest. The fact that you can betray your friends makes it all the more exciting, as you never know who to trust. The added twist of the Steel Balls and their unique abilities just adds to the excitement and makes for some epic battles. It's a shame that the hackers have taken over, as it really ruins the experience for everyone else. Hopefully, the developers can find a way to fix this issue and make Steel Ball Run great again.
I think the best thing about blox fruits is it actually feels like roblox the devs dont put all their focus on making the game look realistic they try making their combat good and making sure we enjoy the game and its different from every other one piece with the roll with the long cooldown and the bad combat
I used to love aopg but I found out I only loved it because any new update can be instantly bought with robux and I had a lot of it to spend on it, once I stopped spending money in it and actually played other Roblox games I found out how bad it actually was
I still play the game tbh, managed to get almost everything in the game in a f2p way, only thing I paid for was a vip server It gets updated once or twice every 1 - 3 weeks compared to most roblox anime games and the updates are decent They somewhat listen to the community suggestions as they have recently added 3 quality features that was heavily requested And hey, the animations in the game aren't that bad either compared to games like king's legacy

I recommend Midnight Sun for a demon slayer game. It has a very fun combat system with amazing clashing sounds and a fun parry system compared to demonfall. Don't need to grind 50-100 levels on the same boss (gyutaro and kaigaku) and prestige 10 times over. It is a rank system by XP and the game is still developing and it is amazing, hybrids, demons, slayers, non demon slayer bosses such as Shura and Aloc, fun grinding compared to demonfall where you just server hop for kai and gyu. Not heavy on story but Midnight slayers is overall better than project slayers and demonfall. Non-repetitive and enjoyable times despite being developed still (developed as in not as completed as demonfall for example, moon breathing was recently added to Midnight Sun).

I completely agree with you on that. Despite its immense potential and impressive gameplay mechanics, it seems like AO hasn't quite received the recognition it deserves. It's unfortunate, really, because the game has so much to offer to its players. The storyline is intriguing and the character customization options are extensive. The combat system is quite unique and adds an extra layer of depth to the game. But most importantly, the community is incredibly welcoming and friendly. There's always someone to play with or help you out if you need it. That being said, I do believe that if more people were to give AO a chance, they would quickly become hooked. The game has so much to offer, from the intense battles to the intriguing lore. It's a game that rewards those who are willing to put in the effort and time to explore all of its possibilities. With more players, the game could only get better, as there would be more opportunities for collaboration and exploration. You could have added the game called "A universal time" which is a nice game with the best combat mechanics and the game is dependent on the anime JoJo's bizarre adventure
Anime adventuees isnt as much pay to win as it used to be before. Now, the game has tons of different ways for you to grind gems. And even if u do finish the content such as story mode, you can always do different things as well as daily quests for those gems. Back in the games, release daily quests used to give u like barely 400 gems, and infinite modes would give 420 each. Now u get about 1000 from daily and up to 3000 to complete all 3 infinite quests. Back then , when u would complete a story act , would get 80 gems and 10 gems for completing the stage with 50 gems being ur reward for beating the final boss. Now u again get 80 gems but get 150 gems for each stage with 200 being the final boss all the way up to the 5-6th map so the noobies can get their units. And even after that 5th or 6th map , do get 50 gems per ccompletestage and 100 for a boss one. And that's just one way for gems, of course. Edit:Appreciate the ❤️ mate

The thing that killed gpo for me is the grind, i mean i bought early access and im still at like level 80 cuz i dont wanna play the game cuz of the grind. The game gets enjoyable in br and stuff but i dont have access to that.
I completely understand where you're coming from. Grinding can be a major turn-off for many players, especially when it feels like progress is slow and tedious. It's a shame that the grind in GPO is so overwhelming because the game has so much potential with its great combat system and expansive world. I think that's one of the reasons why many players end up quitting or taking long breaks from the game. On the other hand, Battle Royale and other game modes can be a nice change of pace, but it's frustrating when you don't have access to them. It would be great if the developers could find a way to make these modes more accessible to players, especially those who have put in a lot of time and effort into the game. It's understandable that early access players may feel like they're missing out on some of the newer features and modes, but hopefully the developers will find a way to balance the grind and make the game more enjoyable for everyone.
Slayers unleashed has the most bda, breathing and boss fights you can find in any demon slayer games on the platform (yes the game has alot of bugs too)
AUT used to be a good game before the reset, almost all stands are now quest locked. they also reset stands n items which im still mad abt cus i had my storage full of unobs and other rare stands just for it all to be wiped. (also item notifier changed after the wipe)

Imo Anime Showdown is an Amazing game, it has a variety of characters that arent re skinned, and are Unique. And its actually pretty balanced with the evasive system and its an easy game to learn but the only down side are the characters, theres not much because of their high graphics but Anime Showdown is making an amazing comeback

for astd you said you dont have to selll all your limbs and go crazy for a unit when the current way to get good units in the game is to get a currency which you get a bout 2 of for a long time then you have to get INSANELY lucky to get the unit then you have to do a bunch of story to get the first evolution (theres 2 evolution to these units) then do the most insane raid 30 times to get the unit, Theres over 20 of these units all with the exacct same proccess. ON TOP OF That to unlock all the stories you have to do days and days of grinding to get to the better ares, added to that to unlock most of these areas you gotta be level 100 or 115

I completely agree with you on this. Steel Ball Run is definitely one of the best modes in YBA, and it's unfortunate that it's been overrun by hackers. The concept of the game is fantastic, as it allows players to go on a journey, meet new people, and form alliances, all while battling it out to become the strongest. The fact that you can betray your friends makes it all the more exciting, as you never know who to trust. The added twist of the Steel Balls and their unique abilities just adds to the excitement and makes for some epic battles. It's a shame that the hackers have taken over, as it really ruins the experience for everyone else. Hopefully, the developers can find a way to fix this issue and make Steel Ball Run great again.
I think the best thing about blox fruits is it actually feels like roblox the devs dont put all their focus on making the game look realistic they try making their combat good and making sure we enjoy the game and its different from every other one piece with the roll with the long cooldown and the bad combat

I think you nailed it, a big part what makes blox fruits fun is the speed and ease of movement that so many games opt out of.
I used to love aopg but I found out I only loved it because any new update can be instantly bought with robux and I had a lot of it to spend on it, once I stopped spending money in it and actually played other Roblox games I found out how bad it actually was

I still play the game tbh, managed to get almost everything in the game in a f2p way, only thing I paid for was a vip server
It gets updated once or twice every 1 - 3 weeks compared to most roblox anime games and the updates are decent
They somewhat listen to the community suggestions as they have recently added 3 quality features that was heavily requested
And hey, the animations in the game aren't that bad either compared to games like king's legacy

I recommend Midnight Sun for a demon slayer game. It has a very fun combat system with amazing clashing sounds and a fun parry system compared to demonfall. Don't need to grind 50-100 levels on the same boss (gyutaro and kaigaku) and prestige 10 times over. It is a rank system by XP and the game is still developing and it is amazing, hybrids, demons, slayers, non demon slayer bosses such as Shura and Aloc, fun grinding compared to demonfall where you just server hop for kai and gyu. Not heavy on story but Midnight slayers is overall better than project slayers and demonfall. Non-repetitive and enjoyable times despite being developed still (developed as in not as completed as demonfall for example, moon breathing was recently added to Midnight Sun).

I completely agree with you on that. Despite its immense potential and impressive gameplay mechanics, it seems like AO hasn't quite received the recognition it deserves. It's unfortunate, really, because the game has so much to offer to its players. The storyline is intriguing and the character customization options are extensive. The combat system is quite unique and adds an extra layer of depth to the game. But most importantly, the community is incredibly welcoming and friendly. There's always someone to play with or help you out if you need it.

sadly graphics and animations are some of the least important parts of games
Anime adventuees isnt as much pay to win as it used to be before. Now, the game has tons of different ways for you to grind gems. And even if u do finish the content such as story mode, you can always do different things as well as daily quests for those gems. Back in the games, release daily quests used to give u like barely 400 gems, and infinite modes would give 420 each. Now u get about 1000 from daily and up to 3000 to complete all 3 infinite quests. Back then , when u would complete a story act , would get 80 gems and 10 gems for completing the stage with 50 gems being ur reward for beating the final boss. Now u again get 80 gems but get 150 gems for each stage with 200 being the final boss all the way up to the 5-6th map so the noobies can get their units. And even after that 5th or 6th map , do get 50 gems per ccompletestage and 100 for a boss one. And that's just one way for gems, of course.

It's always sad to hear about losing access to an old account and all the progress and limited items that were obtained on it. But on the bright side, it's a chance to start fresh and experience the game in a new way. And who knows, maybe the next time you play Ro Ghoul, you'll discover new aspects of the game that you didn't notice before or make new friends in the community. It's a testament to the game's quality that it has kept players coming back for years and is still going strong. Here's hoping that Ro Ghoul continues to thrive for many more years to come.

The thing that killed gpo for me is the grind, i mean i bought early access and im still at like level 80 cuz i dont wanna play the game cuz of the grind. The game gets enjoyable in br and stuff but i dont have access to that.
I completely understand where you're coming from. Grinding can be a major turn-off for many players, especially when it feels like progress is slow and tedious. It's a shame that the grind in GPO is so overwhelming because the game has so much potential with its great combat system and expansive world. I think that's one of the reasons why many players end up quitting or taking long breaks from the game.
On the other hand, Battle Royale and other game modes can be a nice change of pace, but it's frustrating when you don't have access to them. It would be great if the developers could find a way to make these modes more accessible to players, especially those who have put in a lot of time and effort into the game. It's understandable that early access players may feel like they're missing out on some of the newer features and modes, but hopefully the developers will find a way to balance the grind and make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

AUT used to be a good game before the reset, almost all stands are now quest locked. they also reset stands n items which im still mad abt cus i had my storage full of unobs and other rare stands just for it all to be wiped. (also item notifier changed after the wipe)
