@@RobertoDallaVecchia Upon your suggestion, I opened up a box of John P’s strings to find that the two high strings were rusty. So I’ll be staying with the hermetically sealed D’Addarios for the time being.
Helpful lesson but it would be even more so if you had close ups of the fret work
