    Most people are surprised to learn that symptoms of low stomach acid are exactly the same as high stomach acid. Heartburn can be caused by low stomach acid, especially in people over the age of 60.

      @@KetogenicWoman my husband and I too. We went through a period of taking betaine hcl with every meal to boost our stomach acid production. Finally we didn't need that anymore and no heartburn. The question about eating some plants and people being ok. I think it's just a matter of time. Some people ignore how many issues they have until their bodies express a autoimmune issues then they just can't understand where it came from? Or how they "GOT" it? You can't outrun low grade ,toxicity forever, that is what we have to keep in mind. Is it worth literally eating a little bit of poison now and again to satisfy your mouth pleasure??? We are always trying to justify or deny using food as entertainment instead of nourishment, me included.

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  7 месяцев назад +1

      I feel you have a great point because it wasn't until a few years ago that I started to suffer from severe heart burn and gut issues. An adult in my 50's and then the doctor put me on PPI which just covered up the symptoms while I continued to eat the toxins. Off those meds now for 3 years and still working on repairs with carnivore.

    Hi Anita, I’m interested in this bcuz I’m doing carnivore and found your RUclips channel accidentally. I felt I’d gone down a deep rabbit hole with the strange attempts being made to twist the carnivore diet into the SAD with all sorts of alternative products that are PROCESSED and likely contain artificial ingredients and preservatives and who knows what else. I crawled out of thinking it’s an even worse situation. Relying on purchases from Amazon to find ways to eat doesn’t seem like a sustainable method. How farmers survived well never know. They only wanted an easy yeast product, but then that wasn’t even necessary, yeast can be captured from the air, it’s a simple process. I believe you’ve been successful and congrats.

    Fabulous interview with Dr. Chaffee. Such a powerhouse in the Carnivore movement.
    Anita, to your Vitamin C question, Dr. Shawn Baker had an article on his Revero website about scurvy, and that article mentioned that Amber O'Hearn, a long-term Carnivore, did some research about the USDA claiming meat had no Vit C. She found out they never ever tested it to make that claim! Turns out "meat does contain a small but sufficient amount of the vitamin, particularly in the context of a fully Carnivore diet." We have been lied to about so many things.🤦‍♀️

    There are A LOT of us living with cancer. Half of all adults will be affectedvat some stagw. But theres never ANY mention of whether pushing high protein is prudent in my situation. I couldnt get Diet Doctor to make comment. How can this many people be totally ignored???

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  7 месяцев назад +1

      Oh gee, I am so sorry you are feeling ignored. Many of the docs like Dr. Chaffee have had cancer docs on their channels to discuss this. Please look for Dr. Thomas Seyfried ( I hope I spelled it right!). I recently started following this channel, Jeff has Stage 4 cancer and is fighting it with Carnivore: www.youtube.com/@BlessingsOnMyJourney
      Also @highintensityhealth has good info on that channel about meat and cancer.

    • @cassieoz1702
      @cassieoz1702 7 месяцев назад

      @@KetogenicWoman Ive watched all of those and read Seyfried's book. The only book I've read about HOW TO (and not just the theory) mentions 'moderate protein' in passing. I just haven't heard any of the 'just eat meat' folks discus whether there should be some protein limit, given that cancer uses glucose AND glutamate (the most abundant amino acid in most protein foods). It's so consistently missed out of discussion, it can't be accidental.

    Interesting interview! You look awesome Anita, just beautiful! I agree that sugar and processed foods and pesticides are killing us, however, animals do eat plants so when we eat meats aren’t we getting those chemicals too (assuming it is true veggies are toxic)? Also just curious how are the “blue zones” (people live longer healthier lives) explained where in some it is mainly a Mediterranean diet followed? Is it how some veggies are grown (toxic chemicals vs organic)? I’m so confused.

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  7 месяцев назад +3

      The cows and other ruminants have this miraculous 4 stomach system and they are born to eat and process the plants that humans are not. Our tummies were made to eat meat. As for blue zones, those people eat mostly meat. Check out Dr. Berry's interview with someone who talks about what really goes in the blue zones! ruclips.net/video/QhQVETLSd2g/видео.html

    Hi everyone! I’ve tried doing carnivore but because of my achalashia I’m having lots of trouble swallowing meat. The motility of my esophagus is very poor. Will I be able to lose weight going on and off of carnivore?

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  7 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not doctor but I happen to have a friend with achalasia. She made the decision to go vegan after listening to the wrong people and I have watched her health literally go down the toilet right before my eyes. She is now getting a whole lot less nutrition than before. Please Stay ON carnivore rather than off and on. Eating with this disorder is hard no matter what sort of food you eat so you might as well eat the most nutrient dense food (meat) which has the only chance of healing your esophagus. Eat smaller meals more often in the day, eat smaller bites, chew each bite 30 times, drink liquid with your meats to get it down. I know its hard because I see how hard it is for my friend but if you have to fight to get food down, then at least select the best. I wish you the best of health.

      However much fat you are eating today, just increase it a little bit each day until you get the desired results. If you just go and add a whole stick of butter the reverse problem can happen. It's one of those things you need to tweak. Also there are a number of other ways to relieve constipation such as lymphatic drainage, castor oil packs and so on. This is awesome Thx folks!
    At 65 I found carnivore diet to avoid the pharmaceuticals; but with CPTSD, 45 yrs vegetarian which contributed to a complete collapse in menopause. I’ve needed a guide and returned to my ND that healed my kids. She’s been working with tinctures & homeopathy to heal my liver, pancreas & functioning including emotional level chakra’s, while my yoga & meditation help engage my parasympathetic system & stop the cortisol & blood sugar rising after meals. Finally no skin inflammation, no iritis, no AS pain with full mobility & strength at 71! Now with the priorities resolved we found mercury & mold! So thank god she’s go the tinctures to resolve them within three months!
