Iveen using this light for close to a year, and honestly had no idea that this light even had a low mode. I wont use it but its cool to know its there. That high mode is SO bright so why wouldnt i want to see more and prevent others from seeing.
Came across video due to having the same issue. Looked in battery compartment, seems it is shipped with "battery insultation material" that prevents it from turning on (like most battery operated electronics). Did you remove that too?
My PID HC came today from optics planet. I charged it, green light came on and light does not work. I will be sending it back. Not too impressed yet by Holosun.
@@itsyourboy007-6 it may be locked. There’s a sequence that your supposed to push the buttons to unlock it but I can’t remember how to do it. Has been a while since I’ve messed with mine. It might be on the instructions or on their website.
Dude, they are trying to take it in every way possible. Think of all of the restrictions they are trying to impose. We need to get back what they’ve already taken away.
Ah yes, full auto, suppressors, transferring them, and even purchasing power have all been affected. I'm 31 and within my FATHERS lifetime he could go to the local sears and go buy a 22 or a shotgun. No paperwork, no questions. The nfa act has taken and infringed on so many different rights that were very clearly labeled "not to be infringed" literally immediately under the section that states our 2a freedoms.
I own several guns.. Nobody has tried to take any of them 🤷🏻♂️ creating a process that a person has to go through to purchase something is not an infringement.. Yall crying about being inconvenienced basically..
@@sacrificialscience4405 restrictions put in place to keep the public safe.. U can still buy a suppressor, I own 2.. So I'm not sure why yall are using that as an example..
@NobodyAwsum in your father's lifetime Jim Crow laws existed as well, sometimes changes need to be made.. Remember when that guy walked into that nightclub in Orlando and killed 30+ people? He was on a no fly list.. The guy could not board a plane because he was considered a threat to society.. Yet he could legally purchase a firearm.. We need gun laws that make sense in this country.. Yall don't want any at all, and your arguments are based off of your personal conveniences.. Thats not gonna move the needle bud.. I 100% agree that having to get a tax stamp to SBR my Kriss Vector and then another to put a suppressor on it was bullshit.. I definitely think shit like that should be revised and it shouldn't cost as much as it does.. Magazine capacity? I have a couple pmag drums and some 33 round glock mags.. So I'm not against people having them.. But at the end of the day wherever u live u can absolutely own a firearm, sometimes there's just a criteria.. Thats not the same as having your 2A rights taken, and yall are arguing in bad faith otherwise..
You engaged lock out mode. If you press it 4 times quickly it will lockout and if you press it 4 time quickly again it will turn back on.
Your the f****n man thank you.

I see your point. It’s nice to have options with it though.
If anyone is still having trouble make sure you screw the light in all the way and that the battery is seated correctly
Absolutely bamboozled the camera when you turned it on lol
It did. That’s a pretty bright light.

I believe you have to remove that if you put the CR123 batteries in it in place of the rechargeable that comes with it.
I have been wanting to try one of these I really enjoyed the video.
Thank you Chris! It seems to be a decent light as long as the switch issue doesn’t persist
Any luck finding holster for the Glock and the Holosun PID?
I have been using a Vedder holster for a Surefire X300. Seems to secure it very well.
@@sacrificialscience4405 Thank you I will check that one out!
Parabellumcw has the ability to use these as well
Another video I seen showed it fitting perfectly with a Tier 1 holster for the TLR1-HL
I dig it. I had a similar issue with a crimson trace light.

You might need to unlock it
@@sacrificialscience4405 is there any special way to do that?
you prolly left the tab on the battery inside the unit lol 😂
No momentary on?
It has momentary on just like the Streamlights and Surefires.
Just bought one today. Changed it and it dosnt work. Smh
I hate to hear that man
Mhhh…no Problems here with my PID, all Functions are working perfect
Working with this issue now. Just bought a new one. Pulled the packing out of the light between the battery and nothing charged it. Still nothing
Mines won’t turn on it’s brand new out the box
Is it charged all the way up?
Yea the light turns green when it’s done
@@sacrificialscience4405 I haven’t even had it for 1 hour and right out the box doesn’t turn on lol

I’m happy with my Olight Baldr Pro R!!! But I might pick up one of these P.ID’s eventually!! 😎👍
If you tap the switch 3 times fast, it goes to sleep mode. Save to wake it. 😊
Yeah, it won't turn on. Lol
"Lets take back our 2nd amendment"
Nobody ever took it from u to begin with
