      That's exactly what I thought (& the reason I hit the comment button) I didn't come looking to troll other people's comments, the intent was to call this guy out on posting a pointless, useless waste of time, waste of digital space, and now, waste of effort to stop what I was doing to make this comment, ) (waste of time to even come across this video in the first place.

    What about cliff Burton

    • @talkingbasslessons
      @talkingbasslessons  Месяц назад

      Cliff Burton uses two. As does Steve Harris. There’s no real need for three finger playing Cliff’s lines. I’ve done quite a few videos on his playing. Most of the bass lines are played half time of the guitars. That’s why they groove better. Check out my Battery tutorial. He possibly uses three fingers very briefly for one note in Fight Fire With Fire. But again, he doesn’t double the guitar line. He rarely does.

    Cliff burton did also. Not sure why he was left out.

    • @looneymax1
      @looneymax1 10 месяцев назад

      He didn't. He exclusively used two. It may look like it, but his pinky is stuck out due to an injury.

    If Charles Berthoud doesn't start getting mentioned in virtuoso licks over an ex coke head who just played " FAST " for a bunch of other coke heads lol. ( settle down, I too like Billy ) however Charles is Vulfpec, Wooten and Dart combined with some Metal on the side.

    • @craigmoran893
      @craigmoran893 11 месяцев назад

      @@punchdrunkfgc my teacher told me he used 3, back in the 90's and suggested i learn like that. Only found out he uses 2 a few years back. 3 is definately a bonus, gives you more options. Does take longer to get your finger style together, and get it sounding even - worth it though
