The babies are adorable. Sounds like a good financial decision to run a mini donkey farm. We are loving them babies. The longer you socialize with the babies the friendlier they will be.
Fifi is so friendly and happy she takes after her Dad. Phoebe doesn't know she's a donkey yet she's your baby. The name Liberty fits her personality better. Both seem to have great personalities and will make great pets.

We saw the birth of Freedom’s baby and my husband said you should name her Miracle. It was truly a miraculous birth for both of them. So glad both babies are doing so well!! And of course Mama too. We also think Steve was just trying to help and not hurt Freedom. ❤️
Love seeing the baby's together! Wouldn't it be better to wait a couple weeks to turn freedom out to the pasture? Gives her time to settle down around you more so she can see you are not there to harm her baby. Also being able to put the 2 baby's together to play helps Phoebe learn socialization skills with other donkeys. Right now she is nervous because she is used to being by herself. A couple play dates a couple times a day will help bring her around to others besides the 2 of you. I think Phoebe needs more time to come around. Maybe she will come around faster if you leave the 2 together for a half hour and walk away to where Phoebe cannot see you she will learn to rely on her new friend more???
