    Thank you to everyone who stopped by our next video. If you enjoyed this format of showing more detailed behind-the-scenes footage of the production process, including those parts that don't make it into our main videos, please share your thoughts. I'd love to hear them. And thank you for watching. I also want to extend my gratitude to all the sponsors of our channel

    To me jigs can be just as interesting as building a piece of furniture, in fact without them you sometimes couldn't make that piece of furniture. I'm more than happy to watch anything you post, well maybe apart from sweeping the floor. The pieces you produce are absolutely fantastic, so seeing some of the ways in which you work and the thought process are just as important to the actual build 👍

    This is some of your guys' best work, Top 5 for sure... The solid slab construction was already nice, but the fish-scale/scalloping device, sent this project into another stratosphere..... Lastly,--if you don't mind-- what 'would' this project bring in the form of numbers; about ($) 18-25,000 (US; less, more?), because I wouldn't be surprised if it was higher? Anyhow, thank you guys for Artistry at its finest!!!!!

    I love it. I do not want to say that this is a bad thing, and I am not trying to say it could be better. It is a wonderful piece. I just think the lines on either side of the carving make it look like it is not one, well two slab's of wood. I have some ideas of what I may have done, or not done, but I am sure you tried many ideas before you decided on your final design. Again, it is very nice, and I wish I had it! If I did, I would not change a thing.

    • @WOODDESIGN6730
      @WOODDESIGN6730  4 месяца назад

      Yes, you are right, I tried many options and initially it was made without these lines, but it looked somehow unfinished. That's why we added these lines. But thanks for your opinion.

    I know what all the parts are except for that little metal piece with the ball mounted on the side of the router sled. You use it to rotate your router. What do you call that thing? What is it?
    And I very much like this behind the scenes format.

    Trouble is when people see patterns in wood nowadays a lot of them will assume a CNC router table did all the work. Or one of those laser tables.

    Beautiful and ingenious work! The fish scales really enhance the look. I would love to see more behind the scenes videos like this. I have one question - what kind or shape of router bit did you use to make the fish scales? I also would be happy to pay for the plans for that jig. Thanks.

    Wonderful - thank you for this, making the jigs and the planning and design are often skipped over in a lot of videos, which from a views perspective is not such a bad thing, but this sort of video is welcome as it shows a glimpse of what really goes into making these things.. thanks
