Eddy's guitar playing was right there on par with Billy Joe's lyrics around this time. An awesomely badass combination, I don't care what anybody says. The time I saw Eddie and Billy in a small club he was swinging a strat through a matchless amp, about 3 pedals, tone was outa this world. Somehow ended up in their dressing room after the show and talked about anything for over an hour. Real, real solid guys.
