Hi Barry, I just bought your training course after watching your hour-long tuition video. I was already thinking that when I become a successful Trader it would be nice to give some money towards charity and I know I would like to do something to help poor kids. When you mentioned at the end of your sales video that your community like to give to charity it was the final thing that made me take the plunge and buy your course and want to become one of your new students. I have been studying for a year on my own and have some udemy courses that are quite good but you seem to have a different perspective and an incredible way of explaining things. Adjust your ADX setting to "fit" the asset and time frame you're trading, keep or 86 +DI/-DI Secondly, use a confirmation indicator with settings to again fit the asset you're trading. Requires more work on your part but usually worth the effort. Plus you'll understand the price movements much more clearly.

Hi barry... Which would be the timeframe to look for entry with adx?? Looking at lower timeframes like 3m or 5m seems not very helpfull... Greetings from chile!!!
No one indicator identifies every market move. The ADX is good for normal trends. I like your request and will add "market crash" signals to my list of videos to do in the near future.

Barry, does the ADX work equally well on all time frames or better on the higher ones ?
It does, but if you're using intraday charts, a gap from one day to another will throw off the indicator in the morning.

If there are gaps on intraday charts, it will throw off the indicator. Otherwise it will work well on any time frame.
