Ok, i genuinely think people don't give enough credit to the incredible character development and writing in this series and I'll use this episode as my example: Norman: he had great set up writing as every spell he had didn't work except the last one that gets the kill, building up the narrative that Norman can't find an answer and than paying it of by him finding it and killing Rose, Olso we get Norman's strategic combat and him trying to find the optimal move which was great and finally this is the 5th god kill he has gotten Willhelm: he has gotten great character development and writing as he gets the master/student relationship with jesus, is thematically clensed for his sins which works well as a character development moment and finally he gets his 2nd god kill (i think) Cody: he is trying to be the leader of the team and get everyone up and fighting which is my favourite part of Cody's character Jesus: genuinely his best moment in the series, he gets his character conclusion with him getting power from god, having a moment with willhelm and truly getting his wish of feeling like he has returned to "home" like he has alluded to literally the entire series Blackbeard: him being an agent of chaos works wonderfully, him 1vs1-ing a dragon was awesome and I'm honestly incredibly curious where he goes next Pawmo: had pretty cool moment of asking Cody for orders, she had beef with him in episode 36 but now that they are working on the same side she respects him more. Greatshot/Rose: really good writing as they have enough character to be interesting but not enough to be overshadowing the fight
@@lightningvolt3150Tekking is good at role-playing, usually! It’s just that’s Agnes is like, all of his chaos at 1000% and we’ve been having to deal with her for the last few sessions.
The whole thing of them not expecting Isekai to last this long is funny to me. I started this on ep 20ish, it is what got me into dnd, I started march of 2023, my senior year of highschool lol
This is a question I’ve been thinking about for awhile can Anthony become old Tony? As in old Tony before he was summoned maybe on one of his days off from work he would not know any of the party also he would have no memories of this world it might not happen but it’s definitely possible old Tony shares DNA with Anthony and we know he can switch with relatives from the past, present, and future.
I definitely see what rustages friends meant now by adding Jesus being a bad idea because it would be "too controversial". Also cool thumbnail. Was kinda hoping to see the Rouge god without her mask but still cool.
Hopefully they can switch people out. Would be nice to have some others participate in the finale and not just stand around outside. Littlefeather and Sir Button are obvious choices. Yog maybe can master his lycanthropy. I really really really want to see Cory in action due to his mysterious connection to how he became a living city. Sylus is General of Vestoria but all he did so far in the story is to be willing to kill a toddler and get his ass kicked. Casamir is there and exists. Snow has been given near impenetrable plot armor by the DM himself. And who knows maybe Katya can show up and use laser daggers. So many replacements possible.
I know what you mean. I kinda hope they switch out Agnis soon. I think she currently has the record for longest tony transformation (like 3 ep in a row I think). It would be weird for Anthony not to be their for the finale. Or at least switch to someone else for a little more variety.
A Black Clover rpg, especially with this group, seems like it'd be real fun. Would probably use a system like what they did for Devilfruits in place of typical spell slots for BC magic, given how they work.
23:30 i actually made build that throws 14 daggers per found as a full attack, i call it the: '13 intelligence wizard' build... or just 'the dagger mage' there was enough feat flexibility to include great cleave, and because of the way its written in 3.5, technically all attacks made at ranged distance count as long as the weapon is in your hands at the end of the attack in terms of getting a bonus melee attack, which means if you have a returning daggers you can throw them (which have bonus effects given from one of his prestige classes), which means so long as you dont run out of ranged low health targets, you can make double number of melee attacks against targets of any health (or kill an infinite amount of low health targets in melee range), which combined with dagger spell stance (its a spell), which allows you to increase your dagger attacks by two per found, plus hastes' additional bonus attack(s), you can definitely throw upwards of 30 daggers in a turn as straight 'to hit' rolls you only have to fudge the rules on free action limitation a little bit (or be a high tier deity) *note: the magic items necessary cost an absolutely crazy amount of gold*
So great shot doesn't have spells that can be used without their bow? So now 2-3 (sorcerer boss might have been defeated by blackbeared)bosses left, wonder how the warlock is going to be because i could see them being more difficult then fighting the last 2 but she might not be.
Actually dragon's breath attacks aren't magical, and it's kinda important it isn't. If it was then anyone with magic resistance would have resistance to all dragon breath attacks in the game. Fizban's Treasury of Dragons cover where the breath comes from
hey doesn't the timer for Agnis to be around over and shoulden't we have anthony back because it is Grate and Funny having Agnis, I just wounder when Anthony will come back and also America is not dead Meaning Anthony would be alive

I will NOT be arguing back and forth with people about religion and about your opinions on it. I'll say my piece and move on. Anyone who speaks negatively or with intention to argue and debate will simply be ignored and / or reported) Oof, just going off of the name of this episode alone.... this is very, very controversial... honestly, it's very offensive. I know not everyone is religious or even believes. But I would not mess with something like "the Holy Spirit" in any way. Even if some people might say it wasn't used for "anything bad," dont touch and / or add the Holy Spirit into anything. Period. It has nothing to do with dnd it has no place there. Don't put it into things where it doesn't belong. Do not offend the Holy Spirit. Especially when it's something you don't understand fully. Especially not adding it to something like a D&D campaign. But it is so easy to offend people who do. You might have fans who are Christian, and have no idea how this could hurt them, seeing a creator they enjoy watching, essentially using their belief, someone they love and worship and pray to as nothing more than props for a dnd campaign. You may not belive in its effects or power but that doesnt mean other people don’t. And Blasphemy agaisnt the Holy Spirit is one of the worst things one can do. If not, the worst. Again, even if you don't believe in something, respect that other people do and do not make a mockery out of it. I don’t see anyone adding muhammad or anything from the quoran into dnd campaigns. you'd get canceled in a heartbeat. But adding Christian figures is okay because there will be no backlash? I was already offput when Jesus was added, and even worse when he turned into some hippie "Stoner," but now adding the Holy Spirit? At this point, this just feels disrespectful. No, absolutely not. I will not be watching this episode. Honestly, disappointed.
Mate, it's not that deep, if you can't stand it, either just imagine that in the Rustage world, this Jesus Christ is actually just a hippie that he believes that he's the son of god, or accept that, they are having fun, and it wasn't done with any malicious intends. Or just stop watching, even if there are only 2 episodes left until the final.
Most blasphemous episode of Isekai dnd. I physically can’t watch this anymore without cringing. Other than that, it was alright. Ig I’ll just stick with marines at this rate.
Rustage I was completely fine with watching these but please stop mocking Christ, I like the videos and have been watching for a while but please I beg of you please stop mocking my religion
@rustagetwo_ Hey, again, last I heard the new DnD was supposed to come out on the 9th. I've never known you(at least since I caught up) to be this late without any sort of heads up to us. Did something happen and the date was moved? And of so, what(hoping everyone's fine), and to when?
In this episode of isekai Dnd:
-Ruby Rose officially becomes a villain.
-Even after 58 episode Agnes still doesnt have her own thumbnail art for some reason
-Agnes teaches us about dragon anatomy.
-Jesus gets removed from the Fraud Watch and gifts Wilhelm with a get out of Hell free card and the world will pay the consequences.
-Rustage turns the holy spirit into a parasite.
-Rustage has had enough of his players killing the NPC's and uses Blackbeard to see how they like it.
-Blackbeard has game is confirmed.
-Norman is gaming for everyone's life.
-If I had a nickle for every time Wilhelm ripped off the body part of an Animal themed God and used it to beat them to death, I'd have to nickles. Which isnt alot but still it's weird that it happened twice.
-Jesus is a Daniel Greene fan confimred. No wonder why he is such a stoner.
-Cody uses all his braincells to keep everyone alive
I read this like the opening to Top Gear
The Holy Spirit is the best written rustage npc
Daniel Greene would create a DM campaign, then write a book about it.
There is a DnD podcast called DnDaniel and the DMs name is Daniel Greene
To Be honest most dnd campaigns that are actually finished are Good fantasy books.
I'd read that
As an avid subscriber I can confirm I get a dollar in the mail from Theodore Rustage every week.
After blackbeards preformence in the fight against the dragon I now understand how he solo'd a god.
thats why he's the GOAT!!!
Shwabadi was so upset with Old Tony's death, he became the center screen placement.
crazy how Norman is the main character of this whole campaign
23:00 there is a way! Rangers have an ability to target everything within a 10ft area with an attack. In theory, you could throw 13 daggers that way (:
True Greatshot could have gone Jaffar from FE7 or Sunraku from Shangri-La Frontier with using daggers as a ranger
Ok, i genuinely think people don't give enough credit to the incredible character development and writing in this series and I'll use this episode as my example:

Willhelm: he has gotten great character development and writing as he gets the master/student relationship with jesus, is thematically clensed for his sins which works well as a character development moment and finally he gets his 2nd god kill (i think)
Cody: he is trying to be the leader of the team and get everyone up and fighting which is my favourite part of Cody's character
Jesus: genuinely his best moment in the series, he gets his character conclusion with him getting power from god, having a moment with willhelm and truly getting his wish of feeling like he has returned to "home" like he has alluded to literally the entire series
Blackbeard: him being an agent of chaos works wonderfully, him 1vs1-ing a dragon was awesome and I'm honestly incredibly curious where he goes next

I know right these character wether intentional or not have so much depth

As a Rogue in D&D Marines, Briggs shouldve known lightning bolt might be the least strategic casting in the whole series 😂 i love it
the amount of friendly fire in the last quarter of the campaign is insane
In this episode, the Holy Spirit plays the role of a pinball
I just kept hoping Norman would just hold an action to fire an up cast magic missile the instant she appeared to attack someone.
3E dnd had psionic classes that allowed for someone to throw a lot of psychic daggers at once.
This is a question I’ve been thinking about for awhile can Anthony become old Tony? I know there's an Accursed homebrew(I think by Zeeto of aTeam Four Star?) for mastered curses like Lycanthropy, so there's 1 option for Yog
Actually let’s not with Little Feather if this campaign ends in a tpk then I don’t want Cody’s son as an orphan.. Just in case
I have delusion for the next campaign and that is black clover. I know it not gonna happen. But I'm just hoping.
A Black Clover rpg, especially with this group, seems like it'd be real fun. Would probably use a system like what they did for Devilfruits in place of typical spell slots for BC magic, given how they work.
