With such a supportive mum and dad it’s no wonder the children are so kind and loving.
I just imagined Ashley having a chat with June teaching her to be nice and careful about what you say to people so they won't have their feelings hurt. i swear you are raising these kids GOOD ♥
But at the same time kids also shouldn't be guilt tripped into lying. I found it disturbing how June went from not liking them to loving them.

I also think a mum as sweet as Ashley would just simply make June understand what good the braces is doing for Claire's teeth plus be supportive for her sister. Maybe that's what led her to change her opinion. Her perspective changed yknow what I mean. She loves em for Claire!

Claire's face when she realises how long. It's fine, it gets better. The only time you'll really hate it, is when you get them tightened. Ive had mine on since 2020
A good time to get braces is when you have to wear a mask a lot anyway. Good timing.

Nowadays, kids don’t usually tease other kids for wearing braces; they usually don’t care. The only time it’s a big deal is if a child is younger & wearing braces is seen as “cool” because their peers perceive the braces wearer as “older” (if they are younger than 11).
And they often love it when the metal is a different colour or multiple colours!
The rubber bands & tightening aren’t so fun but that’s more of a comfort issue rather than looks.
As Clair grows, her voice gets more beautiful and mature. She’s starting to sound a lot older!
Claire has the sweetest relationship with her Dad, but it's so sweet that when she is really nervous, she calls mom. She is growing up too fast!!

I can’t get over how amazing your family is!! Ashley is such a supportive and kind mom, I feel like she’s could make anyone feel awesome about themselves. And Claire really has blossomed into such a beautiful flower!! She’s so mature and brave, and I’m so excited to find out what the future holds for her and her family.

@@idioticbagel2833 I had emergency surgery when I was 7. Spent a week in hospital. My mother spent ever afternoon with me and brought chocolate. My father visited every evening and brought more chocolate. I don't think they realised they were both giving me so much. I milked the recovery period at home too🤣😂
I found that many singers eat ice cream. Seems to be good for the voice, even though some people say dairies are not.

When my son got his braces, he felt strange, but got so used to it, that the moment he had them removed (after a year), he also felt weird. Hopefully by now you got used to it, didn't you, Claire? You look so pretty 🌹🎶🎵

Even when she has braces she will still sing beautifully! And after braces, it will sound even better! I sing a bit too and I had an overbite. I got braces not too long ago and having my bite corrected a bit makes word pronunciation so much easier!
It does hurt when you first get the braces on and whenever you get them tightened. Good luck! 🙂

I came here to say the same thing. I had braces with a palate expander for 4 years and a retainer with an expander for 2 more years after! I was in choir the whole time! You’ve got this Claire!

I had braces from age 16 to 19 and during that time I wore an expander with key. I wish Claire all the best in her orthodontic chapter! Make sure and wear your retainer afterwards!

My daughter had to have teeth removed by her orthodontist and had the expander as well. Then she just had to wear the retainers for a few years. Perfect smile now.
My sons had 18months of braces in middle school.

He had his braces removed last year and his teeth look absolutely beautiful, so it's all well worth it! He said the hardest part was keeping his teeth and braces really clean but he did a good job! It's always so weird for me seeing small kids like Claire getting or having braces. I lost my first milk tooth when I was 10, so I got my braces when I was a teenager already. It's kinda funny to me.
They changed how braces are done. When I was growing up you got them in middle school, now kids get them around 7-9. It's something about the jaw. I don't know all the details.
@@melissalittle2443 Some kids do need them this early, usually because of more severe crowding/space issues. But honestly? Sometimes it comes across like a bit of a money making fad. Like kids that could easily just get them once at 12 or 13 end up getting them early and then twice because it makes more money for the ortho and parents want the wonky teeth straightened out earlier even if that means getting braces twice. I feel like many kids are just not ready to go through the whole procedure of hours in the chair to get them on, painful tightenings and all of the diet and hygiene changes and wearing the retainer full time for a time after at only 7, 8 or 9. I know I wouldn't have managed.
My daughter went through the same thing with her teeth. Her palette was small her tongue didn't fit up there. Claire is the best! Love you Crosby family! 🙏❤️❤️

I remember when I first got braces. I got them in October so I’ve had them for about 5 months. The pain isn’t great at first but goes away after like 3 days. It’s totally worth it though because within the first week my teeth had already moved. Good luck Claire 💕
I've had braces for about two years now, and I love to sing, and although everyone is different I promise braces are no huge burden. Now getting your wisdom teeth out is about two to three weeks of a burden, but nothing will ever get in your way of singing, girl! God has given you the gift many people wish they had. Never stop using it! Those braces look like jewelry on you!

When I had braces, about 40 yrs ago, they removed four teeth, plus I had my wisdom teeth removed as they were impacted. They removed teeth to make
room for the remaining teeth. Doing this changes the shape of your face. Now, they make your palate larger to fit all the teeth in. This is a much better option.

Aww I can’t believe she’s getting her braces already! I’ve had mine since September 2020 and get them off in April 😁 if she ends up getting rubber bands for her braces, it will be hard to sing (I take mine off whenever I sing bc otherwise I can’t open my mouth all of the way) but otherwise she won’t notice any difference 💗 hopefully they’re not too painful though, I know how hard it can be… if they’re sore obviously soft foods that don’t require any chewing are best (smoothies are an absolute LIFESAVER!) but I’ve also found that if you want something to munch on, pirates booty is really easy to eat! Claire looks so beautiful and grown up with them though, and I know she’s gonna do a great job with her braces 💗
