Massive upgrade.. just being able to walk on a flat surface for the rest of the building process, will be less tiring for you both. I have seen the Leca used in another Portugal house rebuilding and they loved it too.. Cheers to you both ❤❤

After The Leca ( expanded clay )with cement you need a layer of concret more ou less 4 , 5 cm and a Wire mesh to prevent cracking, and Then The floor tiles

Congratulations, your project is taking form and it looks nicely. By the way, you don't need to cover the concrete from rain if it was done a day before. It's the opposite, it needs water the next day to forge nicely and avoid cracking in the future. You're doing a good job any way. My respect.

:) Yes you are definatley correct regarding concrete .. Thats why we try to use as less as possible .. buiduing new kitchen we used lime and for pointing walls we using lime as well Gx
