But he chose to be stubborn Catholic and lose his "birthright" (Swedish crown) to his uncle/cousin (don't remember which it was, but I'm like 90% sure it was his uncle). Then, for the same reason, he lost the Russian crown for his son. His decision made Sweden, PLC and Russia enemies for two centuries, ruining PLC (Deluge, Great Northern War). It was also his decision that made Poland lose all Prussian land. He traded it for support of Brandenburg in the war with Sweden, which he lost because he decided to be an idiot. Choosing religion over his future as the strongest ruler that he or his sons could have been if they also were not idiots (but that is a separate topic). All those decisions he made took PLC from being the strongest nation in Eastern Europe into sick man of Europe number one (before Ottomans ever gained that title). His decision created the Russian Empire, the Kingdom of Prussia, and ruined PLC lands (all wars that he made possible killed more than 50% of the population of Poland and devastated the countryside).
07.15 İf you are not a horde it doesnt make a difference if your cav fights in non flat terrain you dont get the minus shock damage so you heavily relying on cav has nothing to do with the marches
