This is one of my favorite songs. The music video was ok. I think music with this sort of message is still looking for the right imagery. Its not as simple as "Ass and Titties" because its dealing with more metaphoric subject matter. That being said, I feel like the split screen was sort of hokey (like an 'look what special effect we have!) video. The ocean is always nice and symbolic as well as the boat to the distance shores. You also look pretty alone. You are even dancing by yourself.
good point! I found the "doubling" of myself was at least a bit contributing to the message "Not being alone" even if you are physically alone. But yes, agreed, I felt in love with the effect while cutting it. :-) Rascal

Frankly this song deserves a better, high concept video.
