Came here to say this ^. All of these "You can't go wrong with.." and a lot of these require a subscription to play courses which I wish was mentioned because it plays a huge factor in deciding which one to get. The Bushnell Pro for example requires a $1,500 subscription to get club head data. Nothing about that was mentioned.
You did not give price for each monitor, also you did not give pros and cons and measurement accuracies. And you flat out said every launch monitor was great; in other words, you do not give useful comparative data. So I can't give you a like.

I am perusing this video trying to find the right fit for me. I’m in an apartment and while some of these are marketed to allow use of foam balls. None appear to actually detect foam balls. Can you please shed some light on (1) which of these monitors are marketed to allow foam? (2) which of these will ACTUALLY WORK? This is critical for me living in apartment and also students wanting to hit in their dorms etc. Thanks!!
I have the original mevo and use it, in combination with an old 3bays swing analyzer regularly. It gives me all the key metrics that i need . I use footspray for face location at impact and all together they help me monitor and improve my swing.
I d like a mevo plus or garmin as an upgrade but i just cant justify the expense. I practice outdoors with cheap range balls and anything i use has to provide relative rather than precise data.
R10 is a good upgrade, I would say, it's under $600, but if you have the Mevo and want to save money, I would do that since they are pretty comparable.
Bushnell launch monitor last time i check it out I found out it doesn't work outside usa.Wondering if this has changed

What’s consensus on the club data with ST+? I worry that inaccurate club data is worse than no data, especially for someone using this to work on their swing…
Question for you, I have the Mevo+ and it is absolutely useless for chipping, pitching, and putting in my home sim setup. What is your recommendation for a home setup that accurately captures the short game as well as the long game shots and of course putting that has a good variety of high quality golf course images (not cartoon like animation) that runs on an iPad? If no good options for iPad then a gaming laptop PC. Thanks for the review, always enjoy your content.

They are all good. If it was me I would do a unit that is next to you on the ground instead of behind you like the Uneekor. If you are indoors you could do Uneekor or SC+
That is a problem, u don’t want to have to move the monitor for each player when left and right handed r using. Behind or overhead is really the only option or it is just a pain…

I have a Garmin R10, it needs an internet connection. This is not good, FlightScope does not need an internet connection to show swing data.

The SC4 was very poor at the range. I tried using it 4
Times and it could not pick up my driver. It was very frustrating. Also my iron shots were not accurate. I returned it within a week.
I even called their CS to ask for help and they were clueless on why it was working. My next one will either be the mlm2pro but for sure the BLP ball only will be the best.
What are you going to switch to?

Camera based launch monitors contain basic cameras, the type you'd likely find in a mid range android phone. All launch monitors are mostly (apart from the R10) VASTLY overpriced. Then there's the add on yearly subscription scam. "Oh it's golfers, let's rip them off", is the problem.
I sort of figured this. High net worth audience. Price not at what it's worth, but what they can afford. I've had good success with a speech I use to prevent various tradesmen from pulling this crap. "I'm not looking for a low-ball price. I'm looking for a fair price. But I spend 50 days/yr on commercial construction sites. If you think you are going to price the job by the size of my house instead of a fair profit, don't even waste your time making a bid."
That said, I figured that high-end stuff like Foresight would have super high speed cameras,. At least they don't pull the subscription model nonsense. Fuck that noise.
