I got the second day registration, and all of the math 100 courses are already full. What am I supposed to do? Is it possible for them to open new classes? And how do waiting lists work?
Sorry for replying late. There are a few options you can do. 1. Check the SSC regularly throughout the summer till early September. Some people drop out from the course especially in the beginning of September and it's usually first come first serve. Snatch a spot if you can! 2. I think the waiting list depends on when you apply for the list. Usually, the department will fill any restricted seats that are registered on the waiting lists. I'm not too sure about it but that's from my personal experience. I am not sure whether they will open new classes. The only thing you can do is check the SSC regularly. Hope that helps.
If i make a backup worklist and unfortunately if one of my classes are full, and i have to choose one from my backup plan but what if it clashes with the time of already registered first preference class? I hope you understand what i mean to say
i have a question for arts, i am planning to transfer to bsc CS and do i have to meet the requirements for arts on the first year to transfer into bsc or i can just choose courses that is required for CS?
I can speak for the science part but I have no idea for the arts part. From what I saw in my friends' case, you probably need to meet the minimum requirement for arts. For a definite answer, you will have to ask art advising. As for science, I would say definitely take the course required for CS. But CS is a very competitive major. I would recommend you to plan for backup majors just in case you did not get in. Hope that helps.
