Sadly, I just read that Roger Horne went on to be with the Lord last year. There are more videos of him during his short tenure with the Cathedrals from Jubilee on RUclips. By the way, this song was studio recorded with Roger Horne on the Cathedrals album "Right On". The trio that was behind the writing of this song (namely Gordon Jensen, Larry Orrell and Wayne Hilton...the Orrells) are all still living and in ministry.
Years of time have come and gone Since I first heard it told How Jesus would come again some day If back then it seemed so real Then I just can’t help but feel How much closer His coming is today Signs of the times are everywhere There’s a brand new feeling in the air Keep your eyes upon the eastern sky Lift up your head redemption draweth nigh Wars and strife on every hand And violence fills the land Still some people doubt He’ll ever come again But the Word of God is true He’ll redeem His chosen few Don’t lose hope soon Christ Jesus will descend Signs of the times are everywhere There’s a brand new feeling in the air Keep your eyes upon the eastern sky Lift up your head redemption draweth nigh Lift up your head redemption draweth nigh
Roger this is mike Brantley from Brunswick ga and I love the voice you had back then . Don't know how good it is now but its really blesses the soul to hear it. I really like the song Ready to go . god bless
Lindo demais...no Brasil recebeu o nome de A REDENÇAO PERTO ESTA...melhores interpretes foram o Quarteto Inspiraçao com meu amigo Edson Ferreira no tenor ... Amo demais ouvi los..
I wish I had more songs by the Roger Horne Trio. He wrote so many great songs and very few people were aware of his talent. Two of my favorites are “Oh Blessed Promiseland” and “I Know Jesus Saved Me”.
The name of the movie is A Distant Thunder. It was the second of four movies about the end times. The first was A Thief In The Night, the third was Image Of The beast, the fourth was The Prodical Plant.
The signs are everywhere! This should make you get up and shout. These people sound like they're fixing to fall asleep. Put some feeling into it for goodness sake!
Dean Adkins If that's Roger Horne, so be it. All I know is that he looks like a young Mack Taunton. They look separated at birth. This is from before I was born, and since Roger Horne didn't participate in the 30th reunion, I have no frame of reference to draw from.

Still some people doubt He’ll ever come again
But the Word of God is true
He’ll redeem His chosen few
Don’t lose hope soon Christ Jesus will descend
Signs of the times are everywhere
There’s a brand new feeling in the air
Keep your eyes upon the eastern sky
Lift up your head redemption draweth nigh
Lift up your head redemption draweth nigh
even so come LORD JESUS
Come, Lord Jesus!
Roger. So good to hear your voice
Nice...Praise God !

It is definitely Roger Horne. He sang with the Gospel Harmony Boys here in Huntington WV before joining the Cathedrals

This group would be my third Favorite line up behind Danny Mark and Kirk Mark.
Not too much longer and we can sing with them!
this song was in a movie I saw about what happens after the rapture. I just can't think of the name of it.

Roger is from WV so I have known him for years. He sang with the Gospel Harmony Boys in Huntington WV before joining the Cathedrals.
1:30 - MERCY!!!!
That moment I felt like I got lifted off the ground! How beautiful was that singing!
Creio que nessa formaçao o Glen esta fazendo baritono...pois os dois a esquerda sao tenores natos....
Roscoe P. Coaltrain has a real nice tenor voice.
There is no cathedrals combination that was not par excellence!
