Came here after the Witcher. Sina said your roots were classic rock. This song doesn't get many covers but man you totally nailed it. I never doubt Sina. You definitely qualify for my classic sound track.

@@ChiaraKilchling First LP I ever bought, with my own 'hard earned' cash, was Canned Heat's "Living the Blues". I was 16 when "On the Road Again" was released. Fifty "cough" years later you do a cover. Nice.

I’ve loved this song since the first time I heard it. I heard 9 Below Zero’s version in the 90s so decided I really needed to check out the original Canned Heat version. It was a combination of Mark Feltham’s style and Al Wilson’s original playing g that largely made me want to learn blues harmonica, ant that has been a fantastic journey.
Great job, you sound awesome. I first heard that song at Woodstock back in 1969. Damn I'm old.

Fewer finger stretches if you strum D, G and B open strings followed quickly by E, A and C# (both 2nd inversion chords of G and A respectively). Then back to E minor or the E note drone which persists throughout the piece. Also use some palm muting if using a stratocaster or another electric guitar.

Hi ! Great great great. How do you play the A after G, you're so quick that I can't see the transition ??? Thanks for answering. Actually, I've learned to improvise on the Alan Wilson's mouth harp patterns. It would be interesting to RE-join both instruments likewise the original of Canned Heat. Alan Wilson has died too young, he would have been a great star otherwise. Too bad ! I also know and like Katie Melua's version... You've got a great sound with your voice. Congrats !
