You'll want to avoid using sunflower oil. Sunflower oils that are not high oleic contain more omega-6, which may harm your health. Research also suggests that sunflower oil emits high levels of toxic aldehyde fumes when exposed to high heat over extended periods, compared with other oils.

Still better than lard, crisco, butter, or bacon grease I’d say… 🤷‍♀️

I know sunflower oil is not the best option, but I need an oil with a higher smoking point for things like stirfries, instead of the olive oil I usually use. Sunflower oil is the only higher smoke point oil I can get here that is not prohibitively expensive.

    Please, consider the following:
    1. Snacking is not good, for health. Instead have (2) or (3) full meals
    2. Seeds oils are very bad for your health, please study this fact
    Thanks for sharing

I’d say any Oil is better than using lard, Crisco, or butter. Also if all the “unhealthy” snacks he’s having is a single bag of chips and a chocolate bar. I’d say he’s doing pretty damn well. What kind of snacks do you eat?

Most of my snacks are fruit, just to satisfy my occassional sweet tooth. I only eat 2 bars of chocolate a week, because snacking is indeed bad.
