She’s jumping from that then into solo main vocals and straight back in again to harmonies. I also notice she’s the main on the mid 8th section. So no that’s not typically what solo artists at all. They do main vocals with background supports.
Heidi definitely has the hardest role in this song (along with Keisha's ad-libs), she sings the high harmony (LIVE) throughout the whole song, she doesn't have a second to take a breathe. That's why she had issues with the middle 8, she hadn't mastered the shift between the registers. I love that they sang live, other girl groups would lip-sync to a pre-recorded track in the chorus 😏. Much respect to Heidi and them all.

I understand why she hated performing this song. The composition of the song is super complex, cannot imagine performing this live and moving around.
