In the first Episode of BPerryFilms Podcast, I want to create an introduction to how we as people connect through music. Music is a universal tool that allows us to experiment with different beats, melodies, cultures, and exposure on a whole new level. Being a person in the Performing Arts industry I thought it was important for me to bring on a guest that best represents that. Today I bring you a guest and dear friend of mine Arnold Pensell who goes by the name AP Black. AP Black is a Musician, Songwriter, Singer, and Producer who has been in the entertainment field for two decades developing his process and exposure. He isn't afraid to experiment with music and allows there to be creativity in all the things he does.
As the episode progresses we go into a deep dive into AP Black’s story of becoming the Artist he has become today. Be prepared to get the inside scoop of him finding his passion and purpose in life through a musical lens and how it gave him a great outlook on life. Some of the conversations will discuss his creative flow, journey, and some of AP Black’s influential figures in his life. Toward the end, we will answer a solid question: What is the difference between an Artist and an Entertainer? Also, highlight if there is a slight difference between the two regarding their level of impact on their consumers.
