It is a thin costume, so just base the size on your body type. If you're a thin person probably a large would be fine. I got a larger size because I knew I would be wearing a motorcycle jack underneath.
Yes, I’ve noticed too that motorcycle police cops are no longer wearing tall boots. Most just wear ankle height boots. Not a good trend. I have been told one reason is that a lot of police don’t like to keep the boots shiny, and the smaller boots don’t need shine.
