im never gonna get over ubisoft gutting recruit 3 different times and calling it an "upgrade"
Playing recruit was the only way I could genuinely enjoy this game. I literally made a seperate xbox account and grinded to level 50 without buying any operators so I could play recruit in ranked, and it was so much fun, but then they added the operator specialty challenges and it made it impossible, and now, recruit is gone for good. This is the update that kills the game for me. I was level 300+ but so long for all the good memories from this game 🫤

As a Fenrir main, I find this change to be perfect. I always would find myself at the end of the round with an extra device but no code to activate it. I now also feel like it’s more fair for the enemies, Personally I kind of feel bad when I out play someone with a bulletproof gadget, so now it’s more fair with placements being more important than ever before.

I always played him so that my gadget is hidden as best as possible, so for me this change also is a net buff. If you have good hiding spots you can plaster an area( or even just re-set after one is destroyed.) and waste so much attacker time.

Big fan of the standard playlist changes. I for one do not like quick match 2.0, really at all, so being able to play quick match maps without quick match 2.0 is gonna be huge for me. I can finally get onto the roof of Fortress again without being basically guaranteed to be killed
disabling runouts when there is already spawn protection was so silly of ubi... but yeah yacht and fortress and plane with standard rules will be so hype
At the moment, Ubisoft should solely focus on how to get rid of the cheaters! Who gives a flying f about new content, if you can't play the game without half of the games including cheaters...
Last night I played 7 ranked games and had 6 games of hackers
Maybe this season being empty is cause Bungie needed a entire worth of content creation time to find a way to deal with cheaters...

A remaster recruit who work almost exactly same as before

Being able to pick up drones while rappelling is actually a huge quality of life change
The new weapon system doesn't even update with attachments, and when it does, it is just flat-out incorrect.

The Stadium maps should have a majority-vote option at the start of the first round to turn on visible and audible crowds for the game.
Before the update, I catch a lot of people off gaurd with my barbwire. Because I electrify it. They get so confused and dont know what to do. They just stare at it, wont touch it, or push through wondering why theyre taking damage. It catches A LOT of drones. I also electrify shields.
I havent seen people electrify wire or shields since like 2019-20. But now that barb wire will be dealing damage, I expect to see more.
I think barbed wire should take three melee's to breaks and you should move a bit slower through it. punish player who just walk right through barbed wire a bit more. electrifying barbed wire isnt really useful considering you can just destroy the electro claw or battery. i do like the fact it does damage now though.
u forgot kaid claw can affect barbed wire through indestructible walls
Or only explosives damage barbed wire, and the wire does no damage
@@HoxFox22 i didn't forget about it. most of the time you are using your bandit batteries and kaid claws on walls. 95% of your barbed wire placements are in hallways, doorways and staircases away from the site wall. i guess you can put the barbed wire directly at the wall, but that serves zero use at that point.
@@korrakinTech you can put in floorboards, you can set up some w/ the kaid claw being outside, etc.. plus it can block drones in hallways so electrifying it is definitely not useless, just rare because of the default site setups that are encouraged when playing kaid and bandit. On some sites I end up with an extra claw and might do this. I do agree that using bandit for that is effectively useless though
I couldn’t remember since it’s been forever since barbed wire hurt attacker but did it leave blood back in the day I thought it did but idk if I’m remembering right
Stadium Alpha was stunning. It's a great thing they are bringing it back. I loved that map.

It would be cool if they did ANYTHING about the cheating issue. I don't understand it at all. Diamond/Champ on PC is literally unplayable. Especially if you are on the west coast server. It is insane. 227 ranked matches played this season, 91 have had a rage cheater on either team. That means 41% of my ranked matches have had a BLATANT cheater. Not like "oh this guy might have soft aim and walls", but more like "oh this guy has a 97% win rate with a 3.5 kd and is shooting me through a reinforced wall." THAT IS INSANE. All this money, and all these tools available, and the cheating issue seems to get worse each season. I don't understand, its not like tarkov where there isn't a replay system. Can you just hire some people to work from home and review some of the footage? It should automatically be sent in for review if their KD is above 2 and wr above 70% once they hit diamond.

Executives aren’t doing their jobs. I wanna believe the Siege dev team can do so much more, but someone in the chain of command is keeping it minimal. If it really is the current dev team, Ubi needs to upgrade the team or flat out replace them.
They should have added a map filter for quickplay. I swear since I started playing again all I get are both stadium maps, lair & nighthaven labs.
Like 90% of my games so far have been on one of those 4 maps.

I love that a lot of siege content creators are so backhanded with contenr currently. It says so much and such a funny way for them to show their disappointment towards ubisoft. Theyre not even bashing em jist straight up showing the reality

Funniest part is that I heard they were gonna do something about xim then proceeds to do nothing about it.
If no new content means less cheaters than there are today, then it’s a good update. Other than that, there’s nothing in the update except macro transactions since they are no longer micro.

This season is dry as hell, but in no way membership is a pay wall. It's annoying that they spent development time on monetization and not on features, but in no way it's a pay wall
the membership isn't to play the game though, its literally just extra cosmetics.

They've managed to attach a fuckin grip on an AKM without a picatinny rail. Only for Deimos because the op sucks for inexperienced players.

Those maps aren’t very competitively friendly due to their structure favoring the Defenders significantly. I don’t think Ubi has any plans of updating them into competitively viable maps, so they will only be in casual -3-

No that’s always been in the game. Certain gadgets are tweaked so that you can destroy them with no point deduction (Ram BUGI, Osa Shield, the bottom Ace Selma), but nothing’s been changed.

My biggest issue is very horrible fps! Anyone else have this problem too?
I struggle to get 240 fps nowadays whereas b4 I would get 500+ fps, easy. Also, the longer you play; the worse the fps gets. Seems like a classic case of memory leak to me. I looked it up online and it seems I'm not the only one with this issue.
