Clowns poem makes more sense now specifically the "violets are blue, in the the shadows they mourn" part because we see nightmare in a void when the door to life is opened at the end of the season 2 video and in this video we see nightmare in a void while mourning dream at the first moment of this video and the also "roses are red but tainted with scorn" part since scorn means either to hate something or to think its worthless which might be nightmare hating himself for what he did to dream and the others or he dislikes techno for you know killing him
I just realized something. In the newest "Nightmare VS Techno", Nightmare and Techno were actually friends at the start. Then, Nightmares eyes turned white, and he started attacking. Then, at the end, he stopped attacking techno and started attacking Clownpierce. My guess is that Nightmare was being controlled by Clownpierce, but in the end he fought it cause he wanted peace with dream. Also, Clownpierce is threatening nightmare to help her, or he will never have peace with dream.

I thought nightmare was just a evil version but showing lots of his past story makes him him looks like he is just alone in the world like everyone don't see him after he saw his pass he is regretful for everything he had done in the past
wow! I like how you did the Into the Spiderverse thing - animated nightmare at a different framerate, similiar as to what they did with the spidermen. Good Job! Really shows how it isn't nightmare, but a body controlled by clown. Also, I like how he surpasses his own psychical limits and fights off a group of 5 people, which he coulndn't do if he was "himself", and neither could techno. But that could lead to a psychical strain, as clown does not know Nighmare's psychical and mental limits.

I did watch this when premiere started but now it’s been 2 months yet it felt like this was created a week ago and my find is just flying through every frame where Nightmare is shown but like 1000 times so yeah..
A small detail I noticed is that from 2:26-2:46, Nightmare's body seems to be animated at a lower frame rate than everyone else. I dunno if that's just an animation thing or if it's implying that that *isn't actually Nightmare fighting*. In all of his previous fights he was a smooth and dexterous axeman, but here he isn't. His moves look choppy and robotic, every action taken seperate rather than a practiced flow of moves, which makes me think that Clown's face overlaid on the white rectangle while Nightmare is falling means that Clown is controlling Nightmare in a way, maybe because he was the one he revived him? Clown would be unfamiliar with Nightmare's body and his muscle memory, so he just chains moves together instead of smoothly transitioning from hit to hit to hit like Nightmare does normally.
Clownpierce is almost like some other villains in movies/shows, he finds something within the person who just beat him, and wants to guide him on the path to power
The reason nightmare beat clown is because clown was extremely weakened, in the end episode he tanked an arrow and a trident straight to the chest, he had to preform the ritual to revive nightmare and then he was in the dead center of nightmares explosion. And in nightmare vs techno, even tho clown was extremely week he controlled techno and nightmare (more nightmare) into fighting and showing them nightmares past. In theory he was weekend in both the last 2 episodes but if he is fully recovered he would destroy nightmare just like he did with techno

I keep rewatching this and I just noticed right before Nightmare hits branzy, Branzy says When were done with you. Were being the key word if it really was dream, Dream would have said I not were. I think that was the moment Nightmare realized that wasn't Dream.

So excited to find out 1. How Dream is alive (maybe he's tied to Nightmare, like some people have theorized?) and 2. Why his mask is broken in the thumbnail. Through the previous two seasons, we've yet to see a mask damaged. They only drop when their wearer is slain.
I think dream is helping techoblade in vol.2 of the sleepwalking so the mask was damage or dream was teleported in the end of vol.1 sleepwalking and fight clownpierce so clownpierce took her power do you guys notice the end of the vol of sleepwalking

Man idk. Spoke is maybe immune to his black hole but he idk about the others so they prob had totems. If I’ll have to say, I think spoke and parrot were the most important in nightmare’s revival bc they had to get his mask. It prob makes sense that they or clown still have the mask cause as we saw, nightmare didn’t have it
I think clownpiecrce is trying to control nightmare. Did you notice what nightmare saw in the dark place? It was clownpierce surrounded in neon white. Then nightmare's eyes turned the same white and he used clownpierce's axe like it was his.
I saw this on comment on a different vid from the series, saying "I wander how dream and nightmare can see without any holes in their masks". Answer: the strap that holds the masks to their heads line up with the eye holes, to were they just look like their part of the strap.

I Feel So Bad For Nightmare Here! He Thought He Was Finally Reunited With Dream But It Turned Out To Be Branzy With Dream's Mask! I Think His Power Works As He Can Transform Into Anyone He Wishes If He Has A Piece Of Their Clothing Intact. Since The Mask Was Broken, Branzy's True Face Was Revealed, This Was Also Foreshadowed In The Thumbnail With Dream's Mask Having A Purple Glow And The Hair Being Branzy's Hair Instead Of Dream. Also In 0:50 We Can Clearly See A Transclucent Outline Of Branzy's Hair. Idk What People Be Thinking By Saying DREAMS BACK!! Clearly He Isnt.. Yet. From What We've Seen So Far Dream And Nightmare Seem More Than Just Blood Related.. They Seem Soul Related. Does This Mean Dream Would Be Revived Alongside Nightmare? Who Knows? Also, Will The Hearts Affect His Personality And Make Him Corrupted If He WAS Revived Through The Same Procedure As Nightmare? I Dont Think So! This Does Show He WAS Aware Of What He Was Doing But Now That The Mask Is Gone, He's Able To See His Misdeeds A Lot Clearer. Now This Got Me Thinking.. IF Nightmare's Spirit WAS TRAPPED In His Mask.. Why Wasnt Dream? Like, They Are Connected Together! Or It's Possible That Nightmare's S1 Weapon Was A Medium That Kept Him And Dream Connected! After Dream And Nightmare Seperated, We Never Got To See Nightmare Use His Spear Again ( It's Been 2 Episodes ) If This Is NOT True, Then It's Wise To Assume That The Green ORB Flowing Away Was Dream's Spirit Being Captured Into Another Object. Possibly His Battle Axe? Overall, If Nightmare = Dream, Then Dream WAS Revived And IS BACK. Orr If Nightmare ≠ Dream Then Dream Isnt Back.
OH THEORY TIME! In S2 E2 in the book it’s says below Nightmare’s mask “set him free”. If we go back to S1 E4 when Dream kills Nightmare we don’t see a spirit floating around because it’s trapped in the mask , but when Dream dies we see his mask but his spirit is free, so when Clown revived Nightmare (set him free) all of Nightmare was revived. But as we see at the end is S3 E1 we see Dreams mask, so what I am guessing is that when Dream is revived since his spirit isn’t with the mask, I’m guessing they revive Dream with the same hearts (Deception, Cruelty, and Vengeance) the hearts control his personality, cruel and wanting vengeance, against Nightmare, therefore Nightmare vs Dream. Except it’s not the true Dream, he appears like Dream, but is not Dream. That is unless this is happening in the Mindscape with Clown or something? Edit 2: in the past 5 months my imagination went too wild with what I imagined what could happen next, it was basically after Techno and Nightmare ran off they would run into each other (not literally) and Techno still confused and attacks Nightmare but Nightmare starts trying to talk with Techno they would end up working together to fight Clown, and then odd happy ending. I think I thought of that too much to the point where I forgot how Ethananimatez always has cliffhanger endings and I also forgot to think realistically. But I am now scared of what’s gonna happen in the next episode. I am freaking out.
Also as we see when dreams axe was thrown at nightmare (when nightmare was powering up fighting everyone) and I know dream(fake dream as I suppose) it showed purple and dreams has green eyes not purple when the make brown it showed purple eyes and a purple glow around dream

So, for a while now, I was under the impression that Clown worked for Nightmare, but judging by the ending of this episode, it’s looking like Clown brought back Nightmare so that Nightmare could work for him Fun fact: every episode (since “Fade away”) has had Technoblade be the main focus (for the most part) except this one

Well, I have a couple of questions. 1. Was Brunzy's Dream mask genuine? Did the mask help him imitate Dream, or did Branzy do it with his purple cape? 2. Why did ClownPierce kill his mercenaries with the help of Nightmare? He could have simply ordered them not to fight Nightmare. Although, according to the last frames, Nightmare was exhausted and could not fight, this is exactly what the Clown wanted. I'll be waiting for the next episode.
Ik everyone thinks dream is alive but I have a theory what if clown disguised branzy as dream since lifesteal works for clown except rekrap and since nightmare betrayed clown he sent lifesteal on nightmare to kill him. Just my theory Edit: i think maybe after that if lifesteal fails clown will kill nightmare himself. Edit 2: I just realised it might be wrong bc when dream was talking it sounded like dream not branzy and ik that bc otherwise nightmare would of known it was branzy so unless clown figured out a way to make branzys voice sound like dreams voice this is wrong clown might of found a way since he does have magic powers.
I don’t think this one is true. Nightmare is like a YinYang to Dream. One cannot exist without the other as seen in Fade Away. So reviving Nightmare would then be reviving Dream, since Nightmare can not actually exist without Dream.
This animation was just so good though, and the stories Ethan tells in them are just so, so amazing, and i feel bad for the people who haven't seen this amazing work. He and the team just have so much skill, and have inspired me to do so many things, it is just insane. Dream isn't alive, i think, because the face behind the shattered mask looks like one of the people from the lifesteal SMP episode, and he also has the exact ax that dream was using. So he posed as dream to get nightmare to fight the group, so clown could get him on his side when they go to face technoblade and the group. I also suspect that technoblade's group might go get dreams mask, and try to revive him, and maybe a couple others to stand a chance. Other minecraft youtubers might also get involved.
Why do i feel like techno is going to intervene in this fight? Nightmare was just misunderstood by everyone. Just because someone has evil powers doesn’t mean they are evil themself.
It wasn’t just a 1v1 this time so I think it could easily be possible that dream is back, and is trying to merge with nightmares powers to create their whole form to overpower Clownpierces plans.
I’m slightly proud of myself for figuring out the fake Dream was Branzy b4 the reveal just based off his weapon. I have a love hate relationship towards Nightmares stocky/glitchy movements in his fight against the Lifesteal members. On one hand it’s somewhat cool as it kind of resembles what Nightmare’s life is like after resurrection, his dread about the past, and his emotions. But on the other hand, it seemed like the animation was a little rushed, making the fight not as smooth as it could’ve been. But maybe I’m just yapping. Good animation still 👍

I've always loved the way you've done the fighting the movements are so smooth and fluent especially when a character is using a heavy weapon because you always show the weight behind every swing and it's always so satisfing to watch. I also loved "dream's" reaction when he and nightmare met; with no hesitation he just started attacking him and didn't even say a word. It was such a cold reaction to seeing his brother but also a very understandable one and I loved every second of it.❤❤❤

Me trying to fit S1 into the plot of the other two seasons. Attempt 1. Sleepwalking S1 Ep 1: Dream Vs Nightmare. After Nightmare knocks out dream (This is in episode 1 of season 3 Dream also could have died but for the sake of this theory let’s say Dream didn’t) Nightmare decides that he is done being ignored by everyone and he enters the Mindscape where the first battle of the series takes place after Nightmare wins this fight and he has now fully possessed Dream. Riptide: S1 Ep2: “Dream” Vs Sapnap This episode is essentially Nighmare vs Sapnap but it’s whatever ig. This video says that this battle still is taking place in the mind scape (I think they called it something different back then but it’s pretty much the same place) This proves that Sapnap is the only other person in the series besides Clown, Dream and Nightmare that knows how to tap into the mind scape. I believe this is why Sapnap by his expressions throughout the video looks the most determined to win as he thinks he’s the only possible person who could get Dream out of the mind scape as Sapnap was the only person left who could tap into the mind scape. As all hope from Sapnap’s face fades once he realizes he is defeated… He was the only one who could save Dream and he lost… Slow Down S1 Ep 3: “Dream” Vs BBH Goofy red people fight each other. (Ik there is probably a lot of things I’m missing in this episode but while this is in my opinion one of his best animations it lacks in story telling. But maybe I’m wrong, idk. Fade Away S1 Ep 4: “Dream” Vs Techno This was originally meant to be the end of sleepwalking however I did find some interesting things. First off, Technoblade I feel like knows something about all of this. While BBH and Sapnap kinda hesistated to fight Nightmare/Dream Technoblade knew that Nightmare had corrupted dream too much and knew that the only way he could end this was by killing Nightmare/Dream. In the end however I believe that maybe it wasn’t the photo of Dream and Technos friendship that made Dream break away from Nightmares control for a brief moment. but because Nightmare was weakened when he saw what he had always wanted, Friendship. Nightmare didn’t lose in Sleepwalking when he died as he would just be revived the next season. Nightmare truly lost when he saw that photo. Sleepwalking Season 1 ends with Nightmare and Dream dying. Based on the “secret” message at the very end of season 3 and the end clip at season 2. It is clear that Nightmare has a choice that was unlocked to him after he saw the photo at the end of season 1. He may make a choice to join the light where there is peace and forgiveness for his past sins or he could join the darkness where there is nothing but fear and anxiety where Nightmare would “Eternally Burn” Ain’t no way I wrote all that. Anyway I need to save my sleep schedule I got a little off track (btw there’s no way I didn’t misspell something and no way I’m going back to check if they’re any plot holes with this theory pls tell me so I can adjust the theory) Other Questions that still haven’t been answered or at least I think they haven’t been. 1.Did Nightmare and Clown fuse because they seem like two completely different entities yet a lot of people are saying they have fused. 2.IS ETHAN GOING TO USE ANTFROST. Ok so he appeared in episode 1 of sleepwalking which is why everyone thought he would be the 4th and final opponent but he was eventually replaced with Technoblade I assume or maybe that was always planned idk. I honestly thought he forgot about the character. BUT THEN WHY DO WE SEE HIM IN THE BEGINNING OF SLEEPWALKING 3. I’m so confused. I honestly thought he was going to be the person Nightmare was going to fight in this episode but apparently not even though it looked like that person at the end of season 3 ep1 had claws but whatever. I noticed that nightmare didn't attack Dream/Branzy until his eyes turned completely white. My theory is than Nightmare is being possessed by Clown. In the end of S2, clown sacrificed himself to revive nightmare. I think Clown's soul became intertangled, or at least a part of it, with Nightmare's, which allowed clown to take over nightmare, causing to him to attack even though he didn't want to. My theory for why nightmare didn't attack was that he was trying to get redemption. I think this season is going to end by Nightmare and Techno teaming up to defeat clown, but in a similar way to how S1 ended, Nightmare will fade away when clown is defeated because there souls were linked. This could also be what clown was referring to when he said "But betray me, and in darkness you'll eternally burn" Clown knows that there souls are linked
I honestly feel bad for Nightmare. He never deserves anything horrible like this. I can't believe Branzy was pretending to be Dream all the time. This is exactly how I feel about me committing sins in the past, and it was terrible, in my opinion. Please don't be upset or give hate to me.
This is not going how I expected But the animation has gotten LOT better ! ❤️ Alright now that I have calmed down let’s talk about the animation. First of all FINALLY Clown has figured out how to talk. (Edit: nvm realized he still rhymed) Also did Nightmare just kill all of Lifesteal. Like I saw how he just threw Branzy’s axe down on Spoke like he is dead. I also noticed that Zam’s sword is different. The animation looks fantastic great job Ethan! Edit: alright after this episode I absolutely despise Clown, did his plan include the rest of lifesteal to just die the entire time?! Heres a suggestion: When Clown Is Going to kill nightmare, all of nightmares regrets appear before his eyes, all the bad things he has done, basically an hallucination, this is a place where techno cannot enter, so nightmare is on his own, just when clown is about to stab nightmare, dream appears in the hallucination/nightmare and walks up behind behind clown and stabs clown, saving nightmare, right when nightmare realizes dream killed clown, nightmare wakes up from his nightmare/hallucination, and see's clown with a sword piercing his chest, and dream is gone. That act was an hallucination, but clown is dead? How? Well, dream basically changed nightmares nightmare into a dream, so that dream can control it, and he could've killed nightmare right then and there, but he didnt, showing that he forgives nightmare

Clowns poem makes more sense now specifically the "violets are blue, in the the shadows they mourn" part because we see nightmare in a void when the door to life is opened at the end of the season 2 video and in this video we see nightmare in a void while mourning dream at the first moment of this video and the also "roses are red but tainted with scorn" part since scorn means either to hate something or to think its worthless which might be nightmare hating himself for what he did to dream and the others or he dislikes techno for you know killing him
I just realized something. In the newest "Nightmare VS Techno", Nightmare and Techno were actually friends at the start. Then, Nightmares eyes turned white, and he started attacking. Then, at the end, he stopped attacking techno and started attacking Clownpierce. My guess is that Nightmare was being controlled by Clownpierce, but in the end he fought it cause he wanted peace with dream. Also, Clownpierce is threatening nightmare to help her, or he will never have peace with dream.

wow! I like how you did the Into the Spiderverse thing - animated nightmare at a different framerate, similiar as to what they did with the spidermen. Good Job! Really shows how it isn't nightmare, but a body controlled by clown. Also, I like how he surpasses his own psychical limits and fights off a group of 5 people, which he coulndn't do if he was "himself", and neither could techno. But that could lead to a psychical strain, as clown does not know Nighmare's psychical and mental limits.

I did watch this when premiere started but now it’s been 2 months yet it felt like this was created a week ago and my find is just flying through every frame where Nightmare is shown but like 1000 times so yeah..

A small detail I noticed is that from 2:26-2:46, Nightmare's body seems to be animated at a lower frame rate than everyone else. I dunno if that's just an animation thing or if it's implying that that *isn't actually Nightmare fighting*. In all of his previous fights he was a smooth and dexterous axeman, but here he isn't. His moves look choppy and robotic, every action taken seperate rather than a practiced flow of moves, which makes me think that Clown's face overlaid on the white rectangle while Nightmare is falling means that Clown is controlling Nightmare in a way, maybe because he was the one he revived him? Clown would be unfamiliar with Nightmare's body and his muscle memory, so he just chains moves together instead of smoothly transitioning from hit to hit to hit like Nightmare does normally.

Clownpierce is almost like some other villains in movies/shows, he finds something within the person who just beat him, and wants to guide him on the path to power
The reason nightmare beat clown is because clown was extremely weakened, in the end episode he tanked an arrow and a trident straight to the chest, he had to preform the ritual to revive nightmare and then he was in the dead center of nightmares explosion. And in nightmare vs techno, even tho clown was extremely week he controlled techno and nightmare (more nightmare) into fighting and showing them nightmares past.
In theory he was weekend in both the last 2 episodes but if he is fully recovered he would destroy nightmare just like he did with techno

I keep rewatching this and I just noticed right before Nightmare hits branzy, Branzy says When were done with you. Were being the key word if it really was dream, Dream would have said I not were. I think that was the moment Nightmare realized that wasn't Dream.

So excited to find out 1. How Dream is alive (maybe he's tied to Nightmare, like some people have theorized?) and 2. Why his mask is broken in the thumbnail. Through the previous two seasons, we've yet to see a mask damaged. They only drop when their wearer is slain.
He might be some sorta of memory as well and thats why he looks like a ghost. But tbh connection theory still makes more sense to me
I think dream is helping techoblade in vol.2 of the sleepwalking so the mask was damage or dream was teleported in the end of vol.1 sleepwalking and fight clownpierce so clownpierce took her power do you guys notice the end of the vol of sleepwalking

I think clownpiecrce is trying to control nightmare. Did you notice what nightmare saw in the dark place? It was clownpierce surrounded in neon white. Then nightmare's eyes turned the same white and he used clownpierce's axe like it was his.
I'm pretty sure the axe was Nightmare's, and that Clowns curse over Nightmare caused Nightmares rage and power to erupt.
I saw this on comment on a different vid from the series, saying "I wander how dream and nightmare can see without any holes in their masks". Answer: the strap that holds the masks to their heads line up with the eye holes, to were they just look like their part of the strap.

I Feel So Bad For Nightmare Here! He Thought He Was Finally Reunited With Dream But It Turned Out To Be Branzy With Dream's Mask! I Think His Power Works As He Can Transform Into Anyone He Wishes If He Has A Piece Of Their Clothing Intact. Since The Mask Was Broken, Branzy's True Face Was Revealed, This Was Also Foreshadowed In The Thumbnail With Dream's Mask Having A Purple Glow And The Hair Being Branzy's Hair Instead Of Dream. Also In 0:50 We Can Clearly See A Transclucent Outline Of Branzy's Hair. Idk What People Be Thinking By Saying DREAMS BACK!! Clearly He Isnt.. Yet. From What We've Seen So Far Dream And Nightmare Seem More Than Just Blood Related.. They Seem Soul Related. Does This Mean Dream Would Be Revived Alongside Nightmare? Who Knows? Why Wasnt Dream? Like, They Are Connected Together! Or It's Possible That Nightmare's S1 Weapon Was A Medium That Kept Him And Dream Connected! After Dream And Nightmare Seperated, We Never Got To See Nightmare Use His Spear Again ( It's Been 2 Episodes ) If This Is NOT True, Then It's Wise To Assume That The Green ORB Flowing Away Was Dream's Spirit Being Captured Into Another Object. Possibly His Battle Axe? Overall, If Nightmare = Dream, Then Dream WAS Revived And IS BACK. Orr If Nightmare ≠ Dream Then Dream Isnt Back.
OH THEORY TIME!
In S2 E2 in the book it’s says below Nightmare’s mask “set him free”. If we go back to S1 E4 when Dream kills Nightmare we don’t see a spirit floating around because it’s trapped in the mask , but when Dream dies we see his mask but his spirit is free, so when Clown revived Nightmare (set him free) all of Nightmare was revived. But as we see at the end is S3 E1 we see Dreams mask, so what I am guessing is that when Dream is revived since his spirit isn’t with the mask, I’m guessing they revive Dream with the same hearts (Deception, Cruelty, and Vengeance) the hearts control his personality, cruel and wanting vengeance, against Nightmare, therefore Nightmare vs Dream. Except it’s not the true Dream, he appears like Dream, but is not Dream.
That is unless this is happening in the Mindscape with Clown or something?
Edit 2: in the past 5 months my imagination went too wild with what I imagined what could happen next, it was basically after Techno and Nightmare ran off they would run into each other (not literally) and Techno still confused and attacks Nightmare but Nightmare starts trying to talk with Techno they would end up working together to fight Clown, and then odd happy ending. I think I thought of that too much to the point where I forgot how Ethananimatez always has cliffhanger endings and I also forgot to think realistically. But I am now scared of what’s gonna happen in the next episode. I am freaking out.

Well, I have a couple of questions. 1. Was Brunzy's Dream mask genuine? Did the mask help him imitate Dream, or did Branzy do it with his purple cape? 2. Why did ClownPierce kill his mercenaries with the help of Nightmare? He could have simply ordered them not to fight Nightmare. Although, according to the last frames, Nightmare was exhausted and could not fight, this is exactly what the Clown wanted. I'll be waiting for the next episode.

Ik everyone thinks dream is alive but I have a theory what if clown disguised branzy as dream since lifesteal works for clown except rekrap and since nightmare betrayed clown he sent lifesteal on nightmare to kill him. Just my theory
Edit: i think maybe after that if lifesteal fails clown will kill nightmare himself.
Edit 2: I just realised it might be wrong bc when dream was talking it sounded like dream not branzy and ik that bc otherwise nightmare would of known it was branzy so unless clown figured out a way to make branzys voice sound like dreams voice this is wrong clown might of found a way since he does have magic powers.
I don’t think this one is true. Nightmare is like a YinYang to Dream. One cannot exist without the other as seen in Fade Away. So reviving Nightmare would then be reviving Dream, since Nightmare can not actually exist without Dream.

This animation was just so good though, and the stories Ethan tells in them are just so, so amazing, and i feel bad for the people who haven't seen this amazing work. He and the team just have so much skill, and have inspired me to do so many things, it is just insane.
Dream isn't alive, i think, because the face behind the shattered mask looks like one of the people from the lifesteal SMP episode, and he also has the exact ax that dream was using. So he posed as dream to get nightmare to fight the group, so clown could get him on his side when they go to face technoblade and the group. I also suspect that technoblade's group might go get dreams mask, and try to revive him, and maybe a couple others to stand a chance. Other minecraft youtubers might also get involved.

Why do i feel like techno is going to intervene in this fight? Nightmare was just misunderstood by everyone. Just because someone has evil powers doesn’t mean they are evil themself.

It wasn’t just a 1v1 this time so I think it could easily be possible that dream is back, and is trying to merge with nightmares powers to create their whole form to overpower Clownpierces plans.

I’m slightly proud of myself for figuring out the fake Dream was Branzy b4 the reveal just based off his weapon.
I have a love hate relationship towards Nightmares stocky/glitchy movements in his fight against the Lifesteal members. On one hand it’s somewhat cool as it kind of resembles what Nightmare’s life is like after resurrection, his dread about the past, and his emotions. But on the other hand, it seemed like the animation was a little rushed, making the fight not as smooth as it could’ve been. But maybe I’m just yapping.

The animation community that I’m apart of is going through a phase of using lower fps and making the animations choppier. So I’m pretty used to it.

I've always loved the way you've done the fighting the movements are so smooth and fluent especially when a character is using a heavy weapon because you always show the weight behind every swing and it's always so satisfing to watch. I also loved "dream's" reaction when he and nightmare met; with no hesitation he just started attacking him and didn't even say a word. It was such a cold reaction to seeing his brother but also a very understandable one and I loved every second of it.❤❤❤

Me trying to fit S1 into the plot of the other two seasons. Attempt 1.
Sleepwalking S1 Ep 1: Dream Vs Nightmare. After Nightmare knocks out dream (This is in episode 1 of season 3 Dream also could have died but for the sake of this theory let’s say Dream didn’t) Nightmare decides that he is done being ignored by everyone and he enters the Mindscape where the first battle of the series takes place after Nightmare wins this fight and he has now fully
possessed Dream.
Riptide: S1 Ep2: “Dream” Vs Sapnap
This episode is essentially Nighmare vs Sapnap but it’s whatever ig. This video says that this battle still is taking place in the mind scape (I think they called it something different back then but it’s pretty much the same place) This proves that Sapnap is the only other person in the series besides Clown, Dream and Nightmare that knows how to tap into the mind scape. I believe this is why Sapnap by his expressions throughout the video looks the most determined to win as he thinks he’s the only possible person who could get Dream out of the mind scape as Sapnap was the only person left
who could tap into the mind scape. As all hope from Sapnap’s face fades once he realizes he is defeated… He was the only one who could save Dream and he lost…
Slow Down S1 Ep 3: “Dream” Vs BBH
Goofy red people fight each other. (Ik there is probably a lot of things I’m missing in this episode but while this is in my opinion one of his best animations it lacks in story telling. But maybe I’m wrong, idk.
Fade Away S1 Ep 4: “Dream” Vs Techno
This was originally meant to be the end of sleepwalking however I did find some interesting things. First off, Technoblade I feel like knows something about all of this. While BBH and Sapnap kinda hesistated to fight Nightmare/Dream Technoblade knew that Nightmare had corrupted dream too much and knew that the only way he could end this was by killing Nightmare/Dream. In the end however I believe that maybe it wasn’t the photo of Dream and Technos friendship that made Dream break away from Nightmares control for a brief moment. but because Nightmare was weakened when he saw what he had always wanted, Friendship. Nightmare didn’t lose in Sleepwalking when he died as he would just be revived the next season. Nightmare truly lost when he saw that photo. Sleepwalking Season 1 ends with Nightmare and Dream dying.
Based on the “secret” message at the very end of season 3 and the end clip at season 2. It is clear that Nightmare has a choice that was unlocked to him after he saw the photo at the end of season 1. He may make a choice to join the light where there is peace and forgiveness for his past sins or he could join the darkness where there is nothing but fear and anxiety where Nightmare would “Eternally Burn”
Ain’t no way I wrote all that. Anyway I need to save my sleep schedule I got a little off track (btw there’s no way I didn’t misspell something and no way I’m going back to check if they’re any plot holes with this theory pls tell me so I can adjust the theory)
Other Questions that still haven’t been answered or at least I think they haven’t been.
1.Did Nightmare and Clown fuse because they seem like two completely different entities yet a lot of people are saying they have fused.
2.IS ETHAN GOING TO USE ANTFROST. Ok so he appeared in episode 1 of sleepwalking which is why everyone thought he would be the 4th and final opponent but he was eventually replaced with Technoblade I assume or maybe that was always planned idk. I honestly thought he forgot about the character. BUT THEN WHY DO WE SEE HIM IN THE BEGINNING OF SLEEPWALKING 3. I’m so confused. I honestly thought he was going to be the person Nightmare was going to fight in this episode but apparently not even though it looked like that person at the end of season 3 ep1 had claws but whatever. So I wonder if Antfrost will be back eventually from hiding or if he’ll just be forgotten again. (Also if he is used it would be cool to use the original song for the final episode of season 1 of sleepwalking which was going to be Doubt You by I believe Rival?
Anyway I’m going to end this Yap session bc I need to sleep I’ll do Sleepwalking Two tomorrow which will cover a lot of a certain clowns poetry. Goodbye.

I just found this channel again, you probably don’t recognize me I’ve changed my channel name a couple times but I was a huge fan of you a while ago, and I am so impressed on how good this is, it’s crazy. Your dream smp videos you made like 3 or 4 years ago got me interested in your channel. I wanted to animate at the time so you were a big inspiration for me, and it’s crazy how much you’ve improved. I noticed that nightmare didn't attack Dream/Branzy until his eyes turned completely white. My theory is than Nightmare is being possessed by Clown. In the end of S2, clown sacrificed himself to revive nightmare. I think Clown's soul became intertangled, or at least a part of it, with Nightmare's, which allowed clown to take over nightmare, causing to him to attack even though he didn't want to. My theory for why nightmare didn't attack was that he was trying to get redemption. I think this season is going to end by Nightmare and Techno teaming up to defeat clown, but in a similar way to how S1 ended, Nightmare will fade away when clown is defeated because there souls were linked. This could also be what clown was referring to when he said "But betray me, and in darkness you'll eternally burn" Clown knows that there souls are linked

First of all FINALLY Clown has figured out how to talk. (Edit: nvm realized he still rhymed)
Also did Nightmare just kill all of Lifesteal. Like I saw how he just threw Branzy’s axe down on Spoke like he is dead. I also noticed that Zam’s sword is different. The animation looks fantastic great job Ethan!
Edit: alright after this episode I absolutely despise Clown, did his plan include the rest of lifesteal to just die the entire time?! That is messed up

Heres a suggestion: When Clown Is Going to kill nightmare, all of nightmares regrets appear before his eyes, all the bad things he has done, basically an hallucination, this is a place where techno cannot enter, so nightmare is on his own, just when clown is about to stab nightmare, dream appears in the hallucination/nightmare and walks up behind behind clown and stabs clown, saving nightmare, right when nightmare realizes dream killed clown, nightmare wakes up from his nightmare/hallucination, and see's clown with a sword piercing his chest, and dream is gone. That act was an hallucination, but clown is dead? How? Well, dream basically changed nightmares nightmare into a dream, so that dream can control it, and he could've killed nightmare right then and there, but he didnt, showing that he forgives nightmare
