This is amazing! I was litterally looking at how I was going to do the same thing having experience with recording. I had an idea to do Dead To The World. Noel's voice is quiet in the chorus of Dead To The World and I thought I had an original idea of putting Liam's voice in the chorus. I think it would be a great candidate for a Noel and Liam (Acquiesce) style duet. But what you are doing is perfect and biblical so I think I'll leave it up to you to give the world what it needs and what the brothers won't!
Superb! Two minor requests - turn Liam down in the mix slightly and I’d suggest leaving the high “ahh / I”s to Noel. There’s another AI vid that does this and it sounds more natural in terms of the mix but your version of Liam is miles better!
Thanks so much! I've mentioned somewhere, but the vocals are intentionally quite high in the mix so the details of the AI vocal don't get lost, as that's the whole point! It's also a bit tricky, since the generated takes of Liam have a completely different spectral signature (i.e. EQ curve) to Noel's vocals, so they don't sit in the same pocket of the mix that his would. I could start carving out different parts of the spectrum but then I might as well go all in and remix the songs, or even rearrange them! It's easier to just bring them up a little and call it a day, I spend enough time on these as it is! Who knows, I might go back over these at some point and get them mixed perfectly and fine tuned if that's something that people want!
