I'll try to keep this short because Black Veil Brides are my favorite band and current hyperfixation (again 😅) but Bleeders was made because of Andy's love of Sweeny Todd. This song was basically saying we're all the same, we're all human, we're all bleeders and addressing fame and how people see it. This song is from an EP of the same name with two other songs on it, one of which is a cover of My Friends. They do a lot of concept albums (3 out of 6 of their full length albums are) but this is the first reference to something that they didn't create. If you're interested in concept albums, though, Wretched and Divine and Vale are the same storyline and The Phantom Tomorrow is written in a way that shows Andy's love of comics. That was really long but I can't help myself 😂
From what i have seen in interviews of them talking about the reasoning behind being a bleeder is basically, we all bleed the same... "aren't you lucky that you still can bleed?" AKA aren't you lucky to be alive 🙏
Huh, I was thinking of something like "you are a bleeder just like me so who gives yo the right to judge people or feel like something better/more important" or something like that cause two of the men were judge and Police respectively
The new album is Sweeney Todd theme, and it's funny you guys mentioned HIM because BVB did a cover of the Sisters of Mercy song "Temple of Love" with Ville Valo colaboration. Other sings that are really cool is "The Vengeance", "Crimson Skies", "In the End"
Keep listening to them. They are great. Andy (the lead singer) has grown so much from the 16 year old he was when they came out. Such a great band. I can give you songs to listen to, videos to watch, for days. But I recommend watching Knives and Pens where it all started.
Introducing Andy Biersack Lead Vocals Jake Pitts Lead Guitarist Jinxx Rhythm Guitarist Lonny Eagleton Bassist and Christian CC Coma Drummer I'm 50 and I LOVE this band!!! They're going on tour with Falling in Reverse this Fall, I already have my tickets. A bleeder is a human being... We're ALL bleeders
They are releasing a new EP based on Sweeney Todd. It was an influence on their lead singer Andy Black since he was a child. They have always been rather theatrical, but this is the first time it is based on something mainstream. They do concept albums sometimes, which have an over arching theme and story. I would recommend In the End and Scarlet Cross for future reactions. They are part of two different concept albums (Wretched and Divine and The Phantom Tomorrow respectively) with different themes. Andy's vocals are always top notch and musically I love when their guitarist Jinxx pulls out his violin. Check out Savior II for that type of song.
What a great reaction! If you wanna really hear some of what I call their off the cuff stuff, listen to Lost it All, The Mortician's Daughter (Overture III), or When They Call My Name where it's a little slower. If you want some of their faster stuff, I recommend Throw The First Stone, Drag Me to the Grave, or a classic of mine The Legacy. Their stuff is so good. I have listened to ever single album. They even did a track for the first Marvel's The Avengers soundtrack called Unbroken
So I don’t know if anyone else has commented yet on this. But they were all criminals that he killed and the child involved and every single one and the mother was him and his mother. The reference to him killing himself was that he had no future.
And fitting to the Sweeney Todd themed video there´s a picture with Tim Burton characters hanging on the wall behind them 😂 They actually collaborated with HIM 😉 - they covered the song "Temple of Love" from SIsters of Mercy. I also think Andy is a vampire, because this guy doesn´t age. He looks as young as 10 years ago 😂... The video wasn´t more violent than the movie. The killing scene is actually pretty accurate. He stabbed the guy the same way Johnny Depp did in Sweeney Todd 😅.
The songs lyrics are more toward fame and being who people want you to be. The video is based on Sweeney Todd, the kid is a young Andy and the end is him offing himself because he has become as bad as the others with his actions. This song is very much BVB, they are big on gang lyrics and guitar solos. Good ones to check out are The Vengeance and Devil. Most of their videos aren't this quality, they just signed with Spinefarm.
Ha you picked up on the Sweeny Todd reference!! awesome. Great reaction... I am also new to BVB so I can't give you much info I do know be was in the Falling in Reverse " Bad Girls Club" Video as he is a friend of Ronnie...
Hello Audio lunch, Kindly also react to Indonesia music video. Wonderland Indonesia ( chapter 1) by Alffy Rev. You will be see another kind of music from Indonesia. Thanks 🙏🇮🇩
it's so funny because the lead singer is actually a big sweetheart so him being evil/ scary in videos is just a complete 180 from his real personality
Andy, the lead, does often look like vampire. Especially with his lack of aging

@@Skajaw i definitely think that's part of it for sure!
Also the title of this song is a part of one of the songs in Sweeney Todd when he says “I want you bleeders”
