Gregg has Tim dead to rights at 6:07. Film critics and experts actually take a sacred vow (think the Hippocratic oath that doctors take) that demands they draw parallels to real-world events when they see it in movies. Gregg is just fulfilling his duties.

And vice-versa as Tim's character on "Tom goes to the Mayor" is very soft spoken, pacifist like Gregg on "On Cinema" they both just reversed the roles they usually play for this show and it's crazy how well they pull it off
