I own a red Voyager 3 and it's like handling a watch that costs 5 times as much
Love the detail of the date. Why can't more brands pay attention to such details? - it really can add so much to a watch - and it's not exactly alchemy, is it!
I agree. It is amazing.
That green one is a knock-out!!!!
Indeed
great dials. the green malchite and the tiffany blue. well done phoibos
Like the one with the blue dial, glad to see your channel coming along and the joint videos with you and TVG.
Thank you
Love Phoibos! I get so many compliments on my Wave Master!
Love Wave master!
I saw these on the Phoibos website and had to immediately buy it, I have the burgundy dial and it is beautiful. I do wish it wasn't so thick though
Thank you
I love the green malachite dial!
Love the black one.
Gilt-y !
I love my Phoibos Ocean Master (1000m, Swiss Ronda 515 quartz). It says "Phoibos" across the dial (before the Logo was on the dial). It's kind of a modded Seiko XKS case and a modded Citizen Pro Master bezel that Phoibos blended together. I get so many compliments on it! Those first year runs are getting harder to find and they stopped making them because they aren't "original designs"... Love Phoibos watches!
My $100 phoibos quartz sub homage is such a solid watch. Also have a wavemaster that I really like also. Nice chunky one. Been looking at a few of the new ones. They're looking good.
Really thinking about that blue one, love it! The contrast is insane
Thanks. Won't last long
Dude...Phoibos KILLED IT!
They usually do.
Just ordered the malachite version Marc! Looks like a banger! Cheers!!!
Sweet, thank you.
The malachite dial is superb!
Really nice touches with the date and dial colors. I have too many divers as it is. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Yesterday I got my ISL-37 back after loaning it to Random Rob to review and I always thought the end links were too short for the case because the lugs stick out a little further. Somehow I never noticed how the end links integrate with that character line that runs along the sides of the case and top of the lugs. Marc if you did that on purpose you are a genius if not what a happy accident. I've had it for a year, its from the first batch, somehow never noticed. Love this ISL-37!
Oh yes sir. Marc flashing his Yacht Master...Love it.👍 I thought the green dial on the Phoibos quite eye catching.
Gotta wear it!
Phoibos always keeps it interesting. Love the blue dial. 🙂🐶🐕
Me too ;)
I am having a tough time deciding on what to buy for my first budget dive watch. I'm getting it narrowed down and have been looking at the Phoibos Voyager with the black gilt dial. That dial design is one of the most striking I have ever seen.
I have also been looking at the Islander green dial ISL-44. Both of these have Seiko automatics and a sapphire crystal. The Islander has a 43mm case size and will fit my wrist better and it has the day/date complication with hand wind and hacking. If only the Phoibos had a bigger dial with the 22mm jubilee bracelet, I think it would win out.
Nice to see you featuring this brand again. Hoping they do another affordable Swiss quartz watch though
Hopefully
I have a Phoibos wave master with the green dial blue indices and a orange second hand and I love it.
Cool, thanks for sharing.
Love the size on these and that Blue Dial one looks fantastic!
Sure does
@@islandwatch I ordered myself that Blue one. Great summer watch!
I bought directly from Phoibos the Eagle Ray quartz, compressor style GMT - but sold it shortly after because the AR coating didn’t do much and the GMT bezel along with Roman numerals on the chapter ring made the watch look very busy. Lesson learned for me, don’t get overly enamoured by photos and videos, it may look very different on the wrist day in and day out. I could have returned it to Phoibos within 30 days but I had already removed the plastic protection and worn the watch. I have a much simpler looking watch on order now, the Islander Pilot watch, black dial!
Sorry to hear, but maybe a good lesson.
One in black and one in a dark blue with sunburst dials would be gorgeous. If they were made in 43mm with a 22mm lug, I would buy one of each in the colors I mentioned.
Ordered the yellow dial a few days ago. Was going back and forth between the yellow and MOP. Think the grey bezel insert on the MOP put me off a bit.
Looks great 👍🏻
Not related to this particular video but I received my ISL-128 today and I think it’s awesome! It’s just the shade of red I was looking for.
That is awesome!
Would love to see similar black outlined markers for your robin’s egg blue islander dress watch. Hoping those come in stock soon too!
Noted.
Man, that malachite dial pops, especially gilt like that. I might have to consider one...
Sure does 💚
I think that blue is absolutely killer!
Sure is.
Green one already sold out. Should have found some time at work to buy it.
Yeah, sorry.
@@islandwatch It's all good. Early bird and all that. I did the notify me thing, so we will see.
can you mod the bezel insert for these?
The baby blue is POP.
Phoibos makes excellent timepieces...BTW you didn't cover the bezel action. Hope its good too.
It is. But it's uni and not bi
I like them. Especially the green and the blue. A little pricey but I am in Tight wad.
No worries. Thanks for watching
Hi Marc, I just wanted to say that I've noticed a lot of people, myself included, congratulating you on your success.
While I believe these regards are well founded, I can't help but feel as if the rest of your team seems to be overlooked. So can you please pass on a message of congratulations and jobs well done to the rest of the team at Island Watch from myself, a satisfied customer with several of your watches in my rotation. I'm sure I am not the only one in the community to feel this way. All the best from the land down under. ⌚🏆
Noted, thank you!
Very cool. The blue would be my pick but I wish the dates would just be white on whatever the dial color is. Thanks Marc. Have a great day! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
👍🏻
I like the "maroony" color way.
;)
It is just fantastic. Wearing it now. Possibly the favourite dial of my watches. Worn it everyday since I got it 2 months ago. 👍
Nice! We got similar taste :) got myself the blue a few weeks ago, really pops indeed
Very nice. Enjoy!
@@islandwatch The yellow one looks also stunning, very Seiko though ;)
I am considering to buy the white MOP dial, but there is only one review of that on RUclips. Most reviews are for other colours.
I'm looking forward to seeing your review on that MOP.
Thank you. :)

Stunners
Agreed 💯
Hi Marc, really a nice watch at a reasonable price. Like the malachite and maroon the best plus the color matched date wheel. Still, let me suggest watch creators to leave the date complication out or why not, offer both options!
Cause it inflates sku count
Thank you
You're welcome
@@islandwatch I never say much. Thank you sir. You really did what you love and I feel it. Not in a tag way because I could buy so many wonderful watch experiences that where in glad
@@islandwatch you make awsome watches sir. Passion makes performance
This is a great watch, ask me how I know. Looks cool, terrific size, hugs the wrist real nice-like.
Haha, great to hear.
Malachite! He was one of the McCourt brothers. But seriously, it’s gorgeous and rare on a watch face. The only one I’ve seen is on a Ricoh.
Lol
@@islandwatch glad someone still remembers that family. Late in life, Frank outdid them all, though, with “Angela’s Ashes.”
Very nice but a bit thick imo
Ya that side profile looks like it can be trimmed down by 1 or half mm... looks chunky
No worries, thanks for watching.
nice video..thanks marc!! ps I have a 1977 James Bond Seiko...from the movie "The Spy Who Loved Me", I want to have it serviced and eventually sold...do you have a line on a good place to send it for evaluation? Also would you know how one might pop the back? Horologically, thanks for all you do!!!!

Really nice dials. Have to be the black or maroon for me. Great attention to detail on the date windows but why bother? I can hardly see the dates even with my glasses on. I think the whole watch would have looked better with no window at all.
Ha! Many people do enjoy the fine attention to detail.
If ever there was a watch that would benefit from a Le Mans blue and orange stripe NATO strap, it's that robin's egg Phoibos.
Oh man!
Am I the only bloke out there that heres NH35 and think a decent quartz would be better?Just my era from the 70,s and 80,s I suppose.Great looking watches though.
No, but certainly in the minority
Your lights are too harsh, Marc. There's a reflection on the clock, and the overhead light is giving you raccoon eyes. I know you're still working on it. Nice looking watches!
That will get fixed in the future. I'm really focusing on the watch lighting.
Lil’ Wayne? Yeeah!
The versions with the red dates doesn't seem to be that legible.
It's not horrendous.
@@islandwatch maybe it looks better in person than on RUclips. 🤷🏻♂️
This has oris vibe.
Maya's surname is Tiffany 😂😅🤣
Lol. True!
if they could have just found a way to shave off 1mm from the thickness (other reviews have measured it at over 14mm!)....but alas
Agreed.
Unfortunately stopped to watch, when it comes to 39 mm case.
My 40 mm Tissot Visodate looks small enough on my bulky wrist.
What a pity...
No worries
Plenty of bigger dive watches out there, it's good that there's at least a few smaller options being released
maaarc
Hi.
First!! lol
🏆
🎂
made in china ?
Hong Kong.
you got me again, I'll get the malachite when its back in stock assuming you get more of them. Also, I have that brown ceramic Android. Fun watch.
Thank you!
