      Indians mostly Girmitiyas brought to Fiji islands for Cotton plantation workers by British Colonizers because India is also British Colony they all Commonwealth countries
      They make up about nearly half of Fiji islands population many have married other races so many mixed blood like the Singhs Kumars Prasad and many others
      Again good to see the American tourists coming back in numbers adventures vacation

    Fruit bats or Flying Foxes. Government Building was opened in 1939 so its not new. Government Houses the Parliament and the Courts. You first entered the correct Parliament entrance. The other entrance is to the High Courts and court administration offices.

      We were amazed with the bats, we never seen anything like that. You know the government building was at noon, but it’s not the original government building, correct?

    • @fjphoto23
      @fjphoto23 Год назад +1

      @TooMuchLuggage It is the original building named "Government Buildings". Prior to that Government administration was in various other buildings, from Levuka (former capital) to Suva but none were named or deemed "Government Buildings"

      It is good to see Saturday they open doing cleaning the cleaners and buildings maintenance crew
      So people just enter go enjoy the sights and sounds
      It was Government Buildings where all Ministries paperwork carried out
      Nowadays Ministeries Departments all over the places Decentralisation is the word

      We are just tourists. We never claim we know everything around the world but we are traveling and saying what we see. It’s our opinion. lm sure some people don’t agree.😱
