My only issue with Wilder was the torrent of excuses he came up with after his lost to a living legend like Fury, other then that it is always a blast to watch him fight.

Power and heart is underrated in boxing. Some men are boxers, some men are fighters. Deontay is without doubt the latter, some of the greatest boxers of all time have fallen into that category. Don't sleep on his power, or it'll sleep on you!
What's the news here? Any human who's 2 mts tall and weighs 130 kg can knock you out cold in one swing. What makes him stand out above the rest are skill and discipline, all of his peers are 'powerful', but not many are as skilled as he is.
Wilder, even with his scrapping style of boxing really did well for himself. Yes the complaints and excuses after losing to Fury were quite embarrassing for someone who achieved so much, but he really gave Tyson a run for his money, especially in the first fight. Deontays flaws are kinda what makes him fun to watch. Earlier in his career I thought because of how light he is for a heavyweight with that height, that he will not be able to take punishment but he is having a very solid chin. Hate him or love him, he will always come out guns blazing.
George Foreman explained what happened, he lived the same thing after his loss against Ali. When you've been at the top of the food chain for so long you become delusional, for you it makes more sense if the weather, the angels or whatever that's not you is the reason behind your defeat. It takes time to acknowledge, Wilder did that not long before he fought Helenius.
Just imagine if Wilder was more skilled as a boxer. Dude literally made it to the top from just power alone, he'd be unstoppable if he was skilled on the fundamentals. But I think that's what got him up there in the first place, he's truly Wild-er 🥁🥁
It is a shame Wilder made up all those excuses after his 3 fights with Fury, before then I had huge respect for the guy and the truly devastating right hand of the Bronze Bomber.
Honestly, I still think Deontay won that first match, 2 KOs, it doesn't matter how good Tyson was boxing in those rounds, but those 2 KOs, imo were more than enough proof that Deontay won that fight. Just like the bout Francis Ngannou, I think it was given unfairly due to Tyson's fame.
@@enesballa236 if the man can get up after the knockdown it’s not a KO. Cry about the count all you want but fact is he went on to beat the bricks off of wilder after he stood up in that round so pretending that wilder won is crazy. Truth is the draw was a gift to Deontay and tyson proved it twice after that.
@@NateO123 Nah, I disagree. While it is impressive that Fury got up after those 2 knockdowns (not KOs, you were right there), I still think Wilder did deserve it. The first match tho, the 2 other ones, Fury definetly deserved those wins. The reasom why I'm so bias rn is because Fury didn't win against Ngannou, despite the Knockdown and Ngannou mostly dominating (I'll say 65/35), because the Saudi sheikhs had decided that Fury would win it.
I remember watching a video on BLTV about the top 10 current heavyweights with me not knowing who the hell Luis Ortiz was. From there you've been putting out banger, pun not intended, vids. This may be a well overdue video the boxing scene needed and probably one of, if not, your best. You've somehow made me appreciate the sweet science throughout. Deontay is still a champion in my eyes and one I doubt many now or even later could handle him outside of The Gypsy King.
Deontay is truly an all time Knockout artist. He would have been welcome in the golden era especially if he started young. I think hed beat Razor Ruddock. I mean cmon.
Wilder, to me, came along at the perfect time and era for his style of fighting. I don't think his lack of defence would have played with the likes of the elite from the 80s and 90s, and if he was in a lesser weight class, that would negate some of his power, where his best bet would have been becoming another Julian Jackson. Still, all that matters is that he's a former champion who made ten successful defences. Dispute the competition and the politics all you want, but the numbers don't lie.
@@donovanchilton5817 Not really. Because it didn’t get him out of jail against and actually talented top ranked opponent despite knocking him down with his right hand multiple times. Wilder would literally get destroyed by literally every top all time heavyweight from the 60s-70s - 80s to 2000s.
@@Highonlife24... Tyson Fury was 6'9 and 265lbs when he fought Wilder the first fight. Wilder himself was only 209 lbs in their first fight. And Wilders power still dropped fury with one shot. Tyson Fury would've been a problem for any era. Even Mike Tyson said that Tyson fury size and height would've gave him problems back then. Wilder may have suffered a lost to Fury, but with Wilder being outweighed over 50 pounds, and still dropped him with one shot was very impressive, and it confirmed that Wilders power was a little abnormal.
@@johndough4338 That sounds like a whole bunch of excuses. Mike was out weighed and smaller than the vast majority of opponents but had the speed, skill, and power to completely overwhelm them. Tyson Fury would be a mid tier competitor in any era between 1960-1990. Fury is fast on his feet for a heavyweight his size but he’s nothing special compared to the large bot freakishly athleticism and explosive heavyweights in the 90s. And he isn’t as conditioned or or as tough as the heavyweights of the 60s and 70s . Wilder is a bum with one hood right hand that can’t even keep high level opponents down. Wilder is a bum and Fury is heavily overrated and neither would survive fighting Mike in his prime.
No it showed he was not a great boxer, just hung in there long enough to come up with a ko punch in a lot of fights he was losing in. The legendary boxer who cannot box and chery picked fights his whole career. Tried to cherry pick a fat , out of shape fury and still lost. The guys career is a joke, fell as the first real opponent he had.
Its weird, but not really, that no other heavyweight would go near Ortiz. I think Ortiz would have boxed AJs head clean off. Probably would have beaten Fury as well when he first got back before hed shaken the rust. Usyk would pick him apart with ease, but the 3 big names...AJ, Fury, and Wilder...only Wilder dared face him and he did it twice despite it being the hardest fight of his career both times at those points in time. Wilder struggled more against Ortiz in that first fight, than he did against Fury in their 1st. Because while Fury outboxed him, Ortiz was putting in real damage and was proving he had what it took to knock Wilder out at any point. There were too many illegal shots in the 2nd Fury fight for that to even be considered a fight, Wilder was annhilated. But those illegal shots that werent penalized or even commented on were pretty brutal. Brain stem shots that had him all sorts of fucked up, dude could hardly stand still with his senses all scrambled and I believe it was absolitely intentional by Fury because he knew that if Wilder stayed clear headed he was simply too dangerous to fight for 12 rounds at that point. Their 3rd fight was awesome.

I was just about to look for Wilder KO highlights and BOOM. Perfect timing on the upload.
Very accurate summation ... Another great video, thank you 🙏🏾
wilder arguably has the best straight 1,2 in the division, very clean, sharp and always sneaks in through the guard.
Power is all he had. No boxing skills caused fury to beat him 3 times and Parker just put on a Masterclass beat down
That’s badass he got so far with no boxing skills sheesh
You mean fury beat him twice and he beat fury once
Please bury your hatred!
Great video. I’ve been a fan of the Bronze Bomber for a long time and I’ve never understood the hate. Dude is pure entertainment in the ring
Being able to pick up the WBC title against Stirverne is a gift of all gifts it really is. Like Joshua picking up the IBF belt against Charles Martin.
Tell us who was he supposed to fight for the belt then
Cant compare wilder with joshua in one sitting. Joshua resume ia far beyonds wilder
@@serglibrehotfuzz3202 exactly! Wilder had the weakest of the 3 resumes between him , tyson and Joshua

I just wanted to say, that I love your channel man, every single video is so entertaining and high quality... Keep it up🥊😁
I really love the Rome total war 1 and CoD World At War music, really makes you feel like they're going to war in there
Did not see that power against Parker 🙋🏽♂️
He never landed clean lol.
I think Wilder has lost his heart and desire to fight.
I think a prime Wilder beats
@@benlowe578Nah, Parker is clowning any version of Wilder. A younger Wilder would at best be slightly stronger and more aggressive. With Deontay’s sloppy style and lack of defense, I don’t see why the fight would go any differently regardless of age.

One trick poney, and it showed tonight.
i can watch this guys replays all day
My only issue with Wilder was the torrent of excuses he came up with after his lost to a living legend like Fury, other then that it is always a blast to watch him fight.
bro thats every athlete ever. Mike Tyson blamed too much japanese pussy for his first lose. George Forman blamed voodoo magic, the list just goes on with stupid ass excuses. No one likes to lose.
Fury indeed cheated go search it up he has been accused multiple times of cheating he also has been caught using peds
He was accused of taking out padding he used to be a bare knuckle fighter so it’s not hard to believe
@@AhkDagoon-db5sv thats a very fair point. Fury isnt just being accused. He's literally been caught and suspended cheating before too.
@AhkDagoon-db5sv Theres literally no proof. Its just a narrative fanboys of his made up to justify him losing. Just face it, wilder is garbage and Parker proved that the other night
Parker made him look like the second class fighter he is
Wish you kept your videos going, it pisses me off…used to be the biggest and best boxing channel, believe it or not when you stopped a lot of interest was lost from boxing. You help grow the sport, and once you stopped there’s been a notable drop in our sport
Do you know why he stopped
Calm down pal it was copyright strikes no need to get emotional. It's why Boxing Legends youtube don't post now
@@BigDoggTheDonjust saying he went down with out a fight, just accepted getting taken down.
What an awesome video. Always been a fan of Deomtay, but this video pretty much solidified it. He's one of the most entertaining of all time
Power and heart is underrated in boxing. Some men are boxers, some men are fighters. Deontay is without doubt the latter, some of the greatest boxers of all time have fallen into that category. Don't sleep on his power, or it'll sleep on you!
Well said!!
I never imagined I could have pictured Halo Soundtrack with a boxing match!!! Just amazing.
Unfortunately this Wilder doesn't exist anymore. He lost his fire 🔥
He began to fight the top men.
He's not being protected anymore He's done true definition of hypejob
I appreciate the world at war music being used
"Wilder hit Breazaele so hard, there feeling it in Brazil," has to be one of the greatest pick-up lines in boxing commentating history!! lol
"pick-up line" ? lol tf
Charlie Z showed up and showed out on this lil dude.Taught him a lesson and now he knows who the champ is😊
RIP Wilder's career
This video sums up exactly what wilder is great job
Watching Wilder progressively becoming the dark lord Sauron
The CoD: World at War background music was an excellent touch.
Whose here after parker beat deontay
Am still here. ❤
Am here after Zhang defeated him
What's the news here?
That Ortiz fight us so underrated. Both their fights were good but that first one was something else. That was a straight up man dance.
Especially in the 7th round when the ref saved Wilders ass
Just imagine if Wilder was more skilled as a boxer. Dude literally made it to the top from just power alone, he'd be unstoppable if he was skilled on the fundamentals. But I think that's what got him up there in the first place, he's truly Wild-er 🥁🥁
Imagine if he wasn't so protected he would have gotten beaten years ago he's the definition of hypejob
Lmaoo the Stiverne sidestep knockout was the most funny shit i have ever seen in a boxing ring. Wilder eye lit up 😂

I miss the Wilder era of heavyweights. We are back to the Klitschko era again. Wilder put on some exciting fights
Legendary power against bums. That power is nonexistent as soon as he fights top tier heavyweights
ya zhang ate his shots like candy. Wilder also is "chinny" as they say in the biz
lmao legendary dosser
I remember watching a video on BLTV about the top 10 current heavyweights with me not knowing who the hell Luis Ortiz was. From there you've been putting out banger, pun not intended, vids. This may be a well overdue video the boxing scene needed and probably one of, if not, your best. You've somehow made me appreciate the sweet science throughout.
Deontay is still a champion in my eyes and one I doubt many now or even later could handle him outside of The Gypsy King.
Parker handled him pretty easily
That's some lame fanboy talk right there
It's absolutely crazy how bad this man's opponents have been. Great right hand, but outside of Fury, he's fought very poor fighters.
It's rare that we get a deep talent pool at HW
Yeah not totally his fault it’s one of the weakest HW divisions in history

There’s nothing legendary about spending your career crushing tin cans. Man got whooped by Fury three times and embarrassed by Parker 😂😂😂😂

Damn , im really gna miss Wilder in the game. Best of luck champ.
Why? He's a shit fighter soon as he stepped up he got knocked out 🤨
Imagine if Deontay had actual footwork.
And boxing ability.
Imagine if wasn't so protected
Well he’s got power alright , knocking down and knocking out fighters that outweigh him
Wilder, to me, came along at the perfect time and era for his style of fighting.
I honestly think given his lack of style and defense, probably wouldn't have ranked in the top 10 back in the 80's and 90's.
@@vladimirpoutine7522 He absolutely wouldn’t.

More than his big right hand!! Guy, and heart!!!

No it showed he was not a great boxer, just hung in there long enough to come up with a ko punch in a lot of fights he was losing in.

Wilder looks very old againts parker

Great video
THIS!!! I Really hope Ortiz doesn't get lost to time. I really believe he's a top-3 heavyweight this generation
Lol are you guys hyping up the 45 year old can on blood pressure medication get a fn grip Wilder is a protected bum and Ortiz never did anything in his career except duck paydays from AJ

Meh...
