Then lay a second layer of bitumen over the existing and torch down. 15 years ago I learned my lesson and I'm giving all viewers advise on how to do it the correct way.
@@Brandon-no3vc You have to prime on metal. Years ago flat roof contractors gave me new metal flashings, then the torched down over the metal. Turns out, torch down doesn't adhere to metal. They were supposed to spray the metal with asphault primer, then use roofing cement on the metal, not torch down.

Why do you have to prime underneith and ontop of metal on a flat roof but not a shingle roof?
