I was cleaning my car out the other day at a local car wash. Just out of curiosity, I looked to see what padlocks they had on their vacuums to lock up the change.. and they were ALL Abus Diskus 20/70's. Needless to say, I was pretty impressed!
While I know he could easily pick the last lock now it still shocked me that he said he couldn't pick it. Blasphemy. Everyone knows he just says "This is the lock picking lawyer" and all locks open out of pure fear.
After I picked the first lock I ever tried - a chinese disc lock sold by the self-storage place, in ~20 seconds, with zero experience - I bought the 20/70 Abus. Nice to see its value confirmed. Thanks for these great videos.
I picked my first lock today after watching many of your videos. The lock was the same as the cheap Chinese one in this video. I have to start somewhere.
Hi The Lockpicking Lawyer, I just wanted to thank you for getting me interested in lock picking, I just bought my first set of picks and tention wrenches and a see through padlock, had so much fun picking it! Yet again thankyou! 😊
Thanks for this video! I will now be returning my "High Security" Master disc and buying the Abus 20/70. It's a shame none of the major retailers in the USA sell actual decent pick resistant pad locks.
LPL needs to revisit that last lock and open it using the disc detainer pick that he and Bosnianbill made.
I've got a 20/70 on my bike shed. Realised quite quickly that the shed is the weak link in the security chain.
One more thing should be picked the way they would be on shackle in reality this would be wrong way round just saying
Why is no one talking about the fact that the LPL just said straight up “I can’t pick this lock”.
don't watch youtube using microsoft edge unless you wanty to watch ten times the amount of commercials than any other browser

I'm using an Abus 20/70 on my storage locker; glad to know I made a good choice there.
My favorite part is how they turn it upside down to make it easy on themselves.

Am I dumb? It's only one DD lock on the table...
"im not even adept at disc detainer locks"

I like people that are honest. When you admitted that you couldnt pick the abus 20/70 i grew interests in being your subscriber.
Coming from 1000+, bingeing the glorious backlog, you have progressed so much LockPickingLawyer.
I was looking for a good lock for my storage unit. This video was great advice. Thank you!
