I love your studies. Truly appreciate your work. You make a lot of sense on many Biblical topics. Cain for certain married his sister. Many don’t like to read outside of the Bible itself, but the book of Jubilees (which I have found no contradiction with the Bible) fills in many of the gaps that Genesis leaves. It also keeps a timeline and reveals who Cain’s wife was by name, Awan. His sister indeed. Yah bless you bro 🙏🏽
Understanding Hebrew definitely reveals a layer of meaning that is exciting. It also helps to discern what the scholars are saying and if their claims hold true.
The text says that Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters. Just because it focuses on Cain and Abel doesn’t mean there weren’t other children already born at this time. Even if they were the only four, Cain could’ve been afraid of Adam.
I see something differently Cain offering was not excepted by God because it was not the first fruit. It was like brining a blemish lamb for a sacrifice for for a sin offering expecting God to honor it.
I had always thought (not that my thoughts necessarily line up with biblical proof) that even though The Bible has shown that Adam and Eve were the first two created, but doesn’t say that they were the only two created I know they were first, and I know they were where the fall of man began. I always wondered if after they were created , if God had formed more men and woman elsewhere. Again, the Bible doesn’t support this at all, just something that had always been in the back of my mind while reading Genesis.
I would agree that the text doesn’t include any details of other people. It seems clear that Adam and Eve were not only the first, but also the only ones specifically created. All others are born from them. God rested from his creation after day 6. If the text wanted to include more people, I think at the end of day 6 before the rest would be where we’d find it. However, it seems Adam and Eve were the first and only humans.
Old Covenant/ New Covenant Works / God's Work Law / Grace Cain / Able 16 Then Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod on the east of Eden. One of the saddest verses in the Bible.

I've always wondered.... if the only 4 people on Earth at this time, who was Cain afraid would kill him?
