I was really thinking tahm. He deal damage based on his max HP with his passive, do many auto, have his shield to compensate the whole lack of resistance and have CC
Poppy can use it pretty well too: Her W gives her 12% extra resistances, she can easily proc heartsteel in lane with her ranged passive, and she deals pretty consistent dmg with her Q doing 9% max hp on each proc. She just usually is better off with Divine Sunderer or Iceborn depending on the matchup
Sett is great when pairing this with Black Cleaver and Titanic Hydra. His kit guarantees you get 4 basic attacks off if you land a stun, making it easy to get the full stacks from Cleaver. The lack of armor and MR from building only health and AD makes it easier to take a lt of damage and stack up a one-shotting haymaker when you're in the middle of a teamfight. The only downside is that you can get kited around, but generally you just want to ult the enemy Frontline in order to engage, so its only a downside when you're in a 1v1 situation
It's good ig but it's really not optimal. You don't have enough sustain to be relevant in teamfights and you need to be winning lane hard for it to be good on Sett. Goredrinker or Stridebreaker gives his W more grit converted into damage and titanic hydra alone just isn't enough to give him all the AD he needs. You'd have to have the game last over 40 minutes for Heartsteel to be considered better than gore or stride
its good only when you can proc it consistently. Ive had so much games when my Sett was 0 stacks of Heartsteel at 20+ mins of the game. If Sett`s opponent is ranged or roaming so much, its worst item he can build. Any whip item will be more efficient in this kind of situation.
this is extremely accurate. I do HS Sett all the time, plus Grasp. Always rush HS, Warmog's, Titanic asap, then flex the rest based on the enemy comp, and it is nothing for me to just walk into a fight with attacks bouncing off me, then Ult and start CCing people, while using his shield to obliterate anyone nearby.
just because youve played games with bad Sett's doesnt mean its a bad item for him. I have regularly gotten 500-700 stacks on HS and im an average Silver derp. I play him to maximize his HP bar/Shield amount and just be a nuisance to actually bring down.
i was thinking about sion or cho'gath, cuz they have another source to increase max hp, which makes their heartsteel gives more hp when proc-ed than mundo. In the long game those 2 will out-scale mundo
Heartsteel was so good for mundo on release that riot had to heavily nerf mundo just to make him not OP, and even now he’s still insanely strong with it.
@@ardayavuz1922 heartsteel's damage is heavily reliant on how much hp you have. sion and cho both get permanent bonus hp, but i'll focus on sion for a couple of reasons. sion's passive allows him to reliably proc heartsteel on multiple people, even if he dies. his passive bleed is flat damage, so more health makes him bleed out slower. sion's W active scales with his total health. not a major thing, just a nice bonus. sion's W passive gives a ton of flat hp, atleast 1000 each game, usually more. heartsteel amplifies this with the mythic passive (%more health) and with the proc giving more flat HP than normal. sion's E shreds your armor. this amplifies heartsteel's damage a lot, enough to burst over half of a squishy's health if they don't respect your threat range. sion's Q and ult provide enough CC for him to charge heartsteel while he's still alive. this can be important against enemies who are slippery or long enough range to avoid him.
Ornn, Sett, Tahm kench, Sion, a lot of champs come to mind regarding who could be the best heartsteel user. Ornn procs it very easily and gets absolutely massive with the passive. Sett gets insane value from the hp for stacking grit and dishing out insane amounts of true damage in the lategame, while proccing it automatically on people he fights. Tahm scales off HP on basically every single ability he has, it's so gold efficient for his it's ridiculous. And he procs it safely too. Sion of course stacking hp from passive and heartsteel going quickly out of hand, getting immense shields and damage with the W lategame, also uses the massive size boost to get a bigger ult. But then also Zac, getting more sustain and a giant aoe ult as the game goes on, Cho gath if you just want to commit to huge HP and size scaling making you a huge threat in all aspects (Ulti threshold gets outta hand). And then a quick mention of Shen who enjoys HP scaling quite a bit both in damage and utility, also procs it very quickly.
heartsteel is the only tank item ornn should not build at all unless youre like 10/0 at 10 minutes and aim to solo carry the game which shouldnt be happening as a ornn anyway
I find radiant virtue way better on him. Shen is all about supporting his team it does not matter how much damage a Shen does only how much damage he can mitigate.
To thouse who Think kled because he has most base hp out all champs. Keep in mind all bonus hp goes to kled and not to skarl meaning kled Can have 10k hp skarl Will still only have like 1600-1800 hp
Shen is perfect as well: 1) shields (with hp scaling) greatly reduces dmg and W mitigates dmg from enemy aa 2) his E dng scales with his HP 3) his Q has big base dmg, additional max enemy HP% dmg 4) His R is significently bigger with lots of health. Second passive from heartsteel: the bigger ninja is, the more enemies he can taunt.
The item is just not worth it on almost every champ. Sejuani was my guess tbh, because she gets a lot of resistances from passive, while also having hp scaling.
the comments just prove this item is broken lol , its decently usable on many champions, and often the damage is more than if you just built actual damage
I disagree with the statement that Mundo is Heartsteel' best user. While yes Mundo is a relatively good user of Heartsteel, the real problem is that Heartsteel on Mundo *is overkill*. Meanwhile, he still misses stuff he needs. Mundo, due to already having high base HP, damage, and an ultimate that regens him a lot, usually needs resistances and extra healing help to truly be useful above all else, due to him not being capable of stacking HP simply through his kit. Radiant Virtue is a big one, for instance. Jak'sho's or Iceborn Gauntlet's resistances are also usually better if Mundo is a bit behind in gold or exp. Ironically, to be played in a worthwhile manner, Heartsteel needs either a champion that already stacks HP a lot, or a champion with very high base combat durability. For instance, back in the preseason where Heartsteel was released, i was personally a big Diana Heartsteel enjoyer, though it's not that good anymore. Currently, imo, Heartsteel's best user remains Cho'gath. Not only does Cho' fit in all of your requirements, but he also stacks HP naturally (heartsteel's damage and HP increase has exclusively an HP scaling, yes it's exponential!), cannot flex mythics like Mundo can that easily because he kinda needs that extra damage (which mundo absolutely does not thanks to his E passive, even less with a titanic hydra), but also procs it VERY easily due to his AOE crowd controls. A simple cho'gath W->Q on 2-3 people guarantees a heartsteel proc on all of them and usually a good old chomp. Tahm kench and Sion are also two big contenders for best Heartsteel users. Mundo of all tanks, lacks something very important for Heartsteel too: a reliable CC. Because, to proc heartsteel, you need to autoattack. And very ironically, even though mundo serves almost no purpose without autos, he doesn't have a good way to guarantee them apart from his cleaver, which is relatively easy to dodge, and isn't a hard CC so can be flashed or equivalent out of his range. In terms of heartsteel using, Mundo would be 4th best.
I kinda disagree. The question is firstly who uses HP the best and secondly who can most easily proc the passive. I'd actually argue that Cho'Gath and Sion are relatively worse users because they can already stack HP. In their cases, stacking even more HP would make them more vulnerable to %HP dmg like BORK. It would be more valuable to stack Resistances on those two. Mundo, on the other hand, scales exclusively with HP. Although Mundo doesn't have hard CC to catch champions like the other two, he's still going to be autoing the enemy anyway.
mundo does not get flat bonus HP like sion and cho'gath get. his HP without items compared to them is very small, all of his damage and healing is based off of his total HP. as a bruiser, mundo needs to do damage since he provides nothing else for his team. radiant virtue gives % more HP based off of his total HP. mundo does get some % hp when he ults, so radiant's proc synergizes well with it. the base resistances make him less vulnerable early, especially vs fighters with a BotRK. it does give far less HP though, especially late game. that gimps your E attack damage by well over a hundred. this is a reliable and cheap item on mundo early and late game, even if he's behind. jak'sho does not fit mundo's kit well, and it's even worse on him when he's behind. why? well, jak'sho's resistances come from amplifying your bonus resistances, and he gets zero base or bonus resistances from his kit. he only gets it from his legendary items, which he'll have less of if he's behind. his damage also doesn't scale with resistances like rammus, ornn, galio does. mundo doesn't have reliable CC, but that doesn't mean having to auto for heartsteel is a bad thing for him. if he doesn't auto he is almost useless, doesn't matter his items. either he autos and heartsteel is a non-issue, or he doesn't auto and will be useless.
Не согласен. Сион и чогат просто получают огромное количество хп, но они все равно наносят мало урона (кроме w Сиона и r чогата). А самое главное, у них нет процентного отхила.
