Te Horonga mihi whakatau at Wellington Zoo

On Friday 22 January, we held a very special mihi whakatau where we welcomed and acknowledged the precious Tuatara in our care into their new home, Te Hononga, an off-visitor view habitat dedicated to Tuatara.
We were joined by Iwi representatives from Ngāti Koata Trust, who are kaitiaki of Tuatara, and Neavin Broughton from Taranaki Whānui ki Te Upoko o Te Ika as mana whenua.
