  • Sorry for the still shots with voice over. Instagram has corrupted my archive, turning many of my videos into photos.
    rinse 8oz frozen shrimp (half a one pound bag) under cold water until they thaw enough to peel, about two minutes, then peel them
    make shrimp stock: throw shrimp shells and a quarter of an onion into a very small pot, then add water just to cover. Instead of a quarter onion, I used scallion bottoms today. Bring them to a boil, then immediately reduce the heat to a simmer for 20 minutes.
    when the stock has simmered 15 min, sauté 1/2t cayenne, 1/2t thyme, 1/2t oregano, 1/4t paprika, 1/4t red pepper flakes, 2 bay leaves, 4T butter, 2 cloves garlic, 1/2C shrimp stock, 1/4C white wine, 2T lemon juice, 2T worcestershire, 1/2lb shrimp

      Thank you for the kind comment! Lately, Instagram has been turning some of my videos into photos in my archive! Hence the combo of photos with voice over then videos. I’m glad it’s still working for people!!
