- I dug this video and the recorded data out of my PC today, so I decided to upload it on RUclips. This was actually taken in August 5th, 2020. As you can see, my hair was long back then...
I didn't upload this video because there was some mistakes, but when I found this, I changed my mind. Maybe I just want to keep a record of my long-hair days haha.
Speaking of SUFFOCATION, I respect them as a fan of Death Metal genre. I think I first bought their album in 2015. I went to Suffocation's live in 2019, which was the farewell tour of Frank Mullen, and they were just incredible! The shirt I'm wearing is the tour shirt I bought then :)
At that time, I didn't own Axe FX II and was using HX Stomp. Other gears are the same as now (The guitar is Ibanez RG2550Z).
The tuning is C standard, and my guitar is on the right channel. Please use your headphone or earphone when you watch this.

Thanks! It's C standard. I think I basically played the same as Songsterr tab, but some phrases and the solo were played by ear. Sorry I don't have tab for this.

@@mura_guitar 弦に指を擦った時の音です。太い3つの弦でよく鳴ります。下手な説明ですみません
実際に弾いているところを見ていないので何とも言えないですが、左手で指板を押さえる強さであったりミュートであったりが原因の可能性はあるかもしれません…！
または、アンプを歪ませ過ぎている可能性も考えられますが、いずれにせよ左手が鍵なのかなと思います。

What string gauge you use?
I'm using 10-52 for C tuning.
Is that a rg350 or a 450??

I know this song on bass and I’m surprised you casually don’t tense up in fear knowing that this song is 4 minutes of fast as shit alternative picking like I do
Covering Suffocation is challenging for me, but I agree that it's important to relax when you play these kind of songs (as you mentioned that I didn't tense up in fear).

KILLER!! This looks so fucking fun and smooth on electric guitar. Unfortunately my cheap ass was only able to buy an acoustic guitar. Still feels great to play this.

Your playing is so relaxed and brutal at the same time...a lot of practice, I guess, I still apply a lot of tension in my right hand and it's frustrating sometimes. Congratulations, my friend, awesome job.

Yes, Suffocation actually requires lots of practice to play… but relaxation of the right hand is a key for this kinds of Death Metal I think.

@@dive-bomb I think to practice slowly is the key to play faster. You have to let your finger memorize the fast riff.
