It’s very refreshing to watch a reviewer be so honest and hilarious at the same time. Keep it up man, you have a great personality for this kind of content
Seems like maybe a tradeoff situation. Yes, it is tiny compared to most of the toys you share from your collection. But I guess it mitigates space issues (the silent killer). As you pointed out, ideally you could have this tiny version displayed with a 6-inch Nausicaä. Maybe one day. It does look cool, but for the price, it pretty much has to be the coolest
Whew, that price point. I feel like when we try to get JP action figures we get a little taste of what collectors have to pay/deal with outside of the US. I recently picked up all the Bring Arts FFT figures and it was NOT cheap but god was it so worth it once I had them in hand. The figures are always usually a little smaller I noticed too. Probably because over there space is not easy to come by. My FFT figures also came in that sweet clam shell like plastic that makes it easy to pack them back up again and it looks like this figure did too. I definitely held on to the boxes/packaging because of that.

At least she's not just a little statue, bro! She actually looks fun...especially with that sideways flying surfboard...plane...thing... Let's be honest, the LED really justifies the $140, man. And, that transformation gimmick is pretty cool, not gonna lie! This whole experience reminds me of the time I bought a military model kit from the local Ben Franklin five and dime when I was a kid. I rode my bike over 5 miles (each way!), bought what looked like an awesome little armored vehicle model and was disappointed to discover that it was only a few inches long after I got back home. I took it back to the store and the pissed off guy behind the counter actually gave me my money back and told me to never do that again. Lol. I felt dumb and ashamed...but I learned a powerful lesson that day to always read the specs before I buy. AND, I got a shitload of exercise (20+ miles total with nothing to show for it but a few extra smarts and a lowered self-esteem...none of which would seem to have any value for at least another 10 years).
😲 oooo it finally arrived! Nice. I didn’t pre-order this because of the price & its scale, but so wanted to see this thing and what they designed here. Ty! Technically she is on a glider so she’s in the air… perspective 🤔 would make her smaller being in a distance… right?!😄

They do take a little longer than pre-printed sites, but this seems off. Had someone reach out about some stickers being late but then it was in a stack of mail his wife put together. Lol
The painful side of collecting: Having to put up with what is released because the property IP getting merch is rare enough as it is. Sometimes something is better than nothing if you really love what it is based on.
*Sigh* I just got a figure in the mail today and i made the same mistake. Apparently there are different versions and sizes of the figure I bought and I unintentionally got the tiny version with limited poseability, no accessories, no stand, and no display case like the bigger version has. I guess that explains the lower price.
@@NostalgiaUnboxed After researching it some more I discovered that the small version I got is the only one that comes with the cool 80s themed color scheme. I also learned that the larger version is only available on the secondary market for hundreds of dollars. I think I can learn to love my little guy.
Got the yupa set today for $70 at barnes and noble, total steal, honestly really like the set. However, for the original price it is a bit iffy, but as a huge fan of Nausicaa I still really enjoy it. Thank you for the video. I came across a listing for it and my nostalgia triggered. I can display it at least. That kit is just sitting there collecting dust!

The same thing happened to me when I pre-ordered the Smaug miniature from the Hobbit movies. I was sooo excited. Wizards of the Coast had been making amazing dragons for years at 1/5 the $70 price of the Smaug figure so it was going to be amazing! Right! Right? Nope. Damn thing had to be assembled. The tail came as a separate piece. The whole figure articulated but it had cut outs in the spots it articulated so it LOOKED like an articulating figure. It couldn't stand up by itself. What a disaster. I sent it back and they refunded all of my money including return postage. So disappointed.
If it's the Smaug figure they had on the WBshop years ago, I had a similar experience- but I kept it. From the price I assumed it would either be as large as the Fell Beast figure or at least a super detailed articulated figure like a SH Monsterarts. Sadly, it is neither. Probably the most disappointing figure I've ever ordered.
