Good vid, and wonderful to see MonkeyBeaver growing in this way, wise investments and a good team, I am sure you will continue to grow well for years to come.
Phone pouch looks solid. On your test rig, are you going to run a mechanical advantage to give a less grabby slower ramp up of the load? That last bar would look good on my saw too !
Nice video! Your Dutch Brother's order was seriously complicated lol I've never heard of some of the stuff you mentioned. I thought Starbucks was bad...
@@evanwilliams6352 I'm assuming that's good ol' fashioned coffee lol I drink mine with cream only unless it's exceptional and then I can do black. We don't have any Dutch Brothers here in So Cal. Catch you later Evan...
Suggest using a winch with a little less pull capability than your load cell is designed for. E.g. use a 15k or 15.5k winch for a 16k load cell. Otherwise you risk breaking the expensive load cell if your winch doesn’t respond to commands to stop pulling or you just goof on a test article that doesn’t break before reaching the load cell limits.
There’s a RUclips channel called how not to highline they also have a break test device it’s quite similar y’all should check it out. They break Carabiners, webbing, etc.
LEXAN is what you want to use to contain objects within your destructive test zones. Plexiglass and LEXAN is not the same... not by a long shot. Nobody makes bullet resistant glass with Plexiglass ;-)
Omg Wreck it Ralph. I knew that guy.😜 I think that was Jeb's design from his base jumping video rig. Can see it here. ruclips.net/video/cqQrWWpcT0I/видео.html Legendary. Happy for the 🐵 beaver family. Wishing you guys a great weekend.

We thought about it, but we figured the skid steer would make for better footage.
@@evanwilliams6352 you also chose to work smarter. Any time you can use your brain versus your back, you're ahead of the game.
