    How do you get permits to keep native lizards?

    Like your videos so much! They inspire me, I'm a big fan of reptiles and frogs (especially frogs). I hope in the nearest future I'll arrive to NZ. Is it true that in NZ you can keep only native species of amphibians and reptiles?

      Natives with a permit, we do have exotic species but very limited

    just checking you have a permit to keep the geckos right? i want to breed otago skinks but ive been too worried abought attempting to get a permit so i havent and i wanna know what it was like for you

      Yes, Otago skinks are not easy to get permits for….but good luck!
